I just spent the last hour or so reading and taking into consideration everything in this post, every last one, and quite frankly I'm all tuckered out. I do agree with what 90% of the people posting on here are saying. I, as a young fan, do not like the way that dci is turning, some things should be left out. (of course there are 1500 threads on here ranting about those things) But never the less, I would love to see jumping around. Imagine, you go to the stadium, to see the what you hear fabulous Cavaliers, you stick around for a average scoring core ex. Crusaders, and they completely blow you away, an excellent show, they get their concept to the crowd, they were clean, your ears rejoice at the sound of the brass, and then the Cavaliers come up, they put out a bad show for that night and worst of all, as a fan I didn't understand their show, say I was a fan who didn't look at the rankings daily, and I would expect the Crusaders to place higher. Not cause they caught my attention, but they were better on that given night. Unfortunately this is not going to happen. But if there could be jumping around, boy oh boy would I be more attentive wondering which of the corps are going to win that night, maybe I wouldn't go watch the top 5 corps warm up in the park instead of watching the mid-ranged lower corps, I know they are not going to place in the top five, but if they had the opportunity, there might be more fans there to cheer them on, I am also a performer, and I know fans have a lot to do with it, and when you have a rockin show, the fans have to let you know. But if the fans know you can't overcome the top 5 they are less likely to watch you. I'm going to stop now, I'm beginning to blow out smoke, it is quite late. If my post had any point at all, I'd love to see a (anyones game type of night).

I am thinking pure visual here, but I would love to see an Olympic theme show, this year would have been the perfect time to do it. But there are many musical options you could use in the show also. If performed correctly, it could become an instant classic.

Behind the back spins, I'm not sure what you mean but it could be... Its basically backhand spins, but you spin in which ever direction the rifle is, so if your doing them on your right hand, you spin to your right. put your same hand in the small of your back facing away from your body(palm up) and catch, then you do this repeatedly. its much easier to explain, and demonstrate in person. best of luck, hope this is what you ment.

The only thing is, I cant drive, and our band has a craft show this weekend, and I also I need to buy some ski boots. but I cant buy them on Saturday cause of the craft show, and since I have to go and try them on, we will have to spend a while up at the store, in the opposite direction, I'm trying to find some way to get down there to try out, lets see how things shape up.

I am thinking of attendin, I guess it'll be a spur of the moment sorta thing, is there anything else need to bring besides water,and my body, but equiptment wise do I need to bring my own rifle? do you use 36" rifles or 39" same question for sabres to. any information would be helpful, if I go. hope I will!

I've tried everything, but I can't toss anything more than a 7, I dont know how to get anything higher, like an 8, I just want t do an 8, I've tried alot of things, no dice. Tossing Advice anyone?

When I saw the Crown down in Allentown, i was extremely impressed. they were clearly the crowd favorite, and their color guard is also extremely good this year, beating everyone. Blue devils, Cadets, phantom, vanguard, and the show concept is really good in my mind. but the scores aren't showing, if they work on getting their percussion scores up, i defiantly think they have a legitimate shot at the top 5. I didnt think their G.E. was that bad, but it didnt stack up well against the cadets, neither did their brass, but they definatly hav alot of potential, keep it up guys!
