  1. I'll post the scores as soon as I get them.
  2. Just anxiously awaiting the scores is all....
  3. psst.... the Troopers are in Omaha tonight...in stealth mode apparently.
  4. A few notes from the Omaha show from a Troopers fan...
  5. A few notes from the Omaha show from a Troopers fan...
  6. They scored a 61.60 for their first show in 1997. Before that it was a 72.70 in 1986. Congrats on a wonderful start to the 2007 season.
  7. I vote for less than 30 mins. I'm running out of fingernails to chew on.
  8. same news regarding the lineup on the Troopers board as well. Colts are the last to perform.
  9. Nice! That's really good to hear. I'm so geeked for tonight. GO TROOP!!!
  10. from the Troopers website, posted on 31 May.
  11. Troopers did this in 92. They had two platforms, one on each side of the 50, around the 35-40 or so.
  12. http://www.drumcorpsplanet.org/forums//ind...showtopic=14946 Hope this helps...
  13. Their opener is called "Kaval Sviri (The Flute)". If you can find a way to hear this, do. I won't be able to hear BK's version unless they make finals and/or some kind person makes it available for download. The Bulgarian women's choir version I have is amazingly spooky. This is good to hear. Pat Amann (caption head), Mike Nevin and staff will be able to clean this line without watering parts no problem. I wanted badly to get to Riverside and watch these guys (and girl) in the parking lot and hear that show but work prevailed once again....d@mmit. By the way, excellent review. I hope you can get to ABQ show. late,
  14. w/Stp: couldn't agree more. I don't remember where we were on tour in 90, but remember one of the snares was fuzzing a roll on purpose to mess with Lou. Lou came busting off the sidelines in a dead sprint, tried to put the brakes on but ended up sliding/skating across the wet grass in his flip-flops right into the guy. I laugh my ### off every time I think of that.
  15. Just a quick comment on the BK review. I'm not offended by it but I would like to offer my take on the BK drumline/book. I won't comment on the brass and guard (except for the guards uni's....just what are they wearing anyway?) I'm not sure of your background, but if you listen, either in rehersal or performance (preferably both), d###...they've got some notes to play. Even with the line being on the young side, the drums are coming along real nice. My prediction is a top 8 drum line by finals. In Glendora, BK placed 3rd in drums with SCV beating them by only .9. Just my 2 cents, and no, I don't give change. lol Late,
