Thread has been sidetracked. There is no connection between the Glassmen "carnival" logo and the music from Halo . . .

Back to topic. Maybe I'm weird, but when corps release "teasers" for their upcoming shows, it gets my attention and interest every time. I'm speculating that there isn't a lot of hidden meaning in this one. Since the logo uses the dictionary entry for "carnival", the show will embody the DEFINITION.

This year -- Troopers-- Ever Braver Ever Stronger And Bluecoats 2001 -- Red Cape Tango

YES to random order and full retreats! Many times this year corps members were not allowed to play/rehearse near the stadiums during the shows (not sure if this was a DCI rule or came from the individual venue.) This wiped out the advantage they were supposedly getting from not having to stick around for the retreat. The full retreat, with the original arrangement of "America", was what sealed it in making me a drum corps fan for life. With ticket prices as high as they are, it'd be great to return that "Wow" factor to the end of the show.
