Very Very Sad News. John was a Great Friend and a Great Hornplayer. He and Sidemouth were an incredible team!!! Their duet in And I Am Telling You from DreamGirls will be long remembered. RIP John. Judge

So, if you marched junior corps in the 80's you are now in your 40's. Don't you think that it's time to get back on the field and be a star for 15 minutes every Saturday night of the summer? You don't have to live through memories, create new ones, and you'll get in beter shape also. As stated earlier, Drum Corps is Life, Live It! By the way, I'm well past 40!

Alright!!! The show is finished, the run throughs have begun!!It is now time to get off the couch and do drum corps. As the saying goes, "Drum Corps is Life, Live It"!!(from a phantom regimenbt teeshirt) Summer can be boring or fun, your choice!

Unfortunately I will miss the next camp due to work also. I am on call for a week beginnign 3/13/09. I can't wait to get back into serious rehearsal time at the end of this month. I truly miss the great staff and members at Empire, and I am looking forward to getting back on the field. Where else can you be a star for 15 minutes every Saturday night in the summer!! Judge

I just got in from Hawaii, left there it was 82, arrived in Newark it was 16, what a shock to my system!! Now time to buckle down to some serious practice. See you guys soon. Judge

My deepest sympathies to Chris, Donna and the whole family. Charlie was a great person to know and he will be sadly missed. Judge

Unfortunately I could not attend the Open House and Banquet, but having marched the past two seasons with The Statesmen, I would strongly urge anyone interested in marching the 2009 season to check them out. This is a great bunch of people, and the corps is all about Excellence and Entertainment. The administration goes out of their way to provide all of the tools neccessary for the corps to be successful, and the 2009 staff is just totaly outstanding. Judge

Allen, wish that Mary Lou and I could make it, we will truly miss you, David, and everyone else. We plan on being up in Jan. for the second camp. I'm on call for the first January camp. This is an outstanding team of legendary instructors!! This is also a perfect fit for Empire. With This staff in place, it will be another great season for Empire. You can't ask for more in drum corps, entertainment and world class instructors. Judge

Rich and Brett and Terry are truly great visual people, and just great people. This is an outstanding fit for Empire. 09 will be incredible with this staff. Judge

Jeff, Best wishes on reaching the half century mark! You are one incredible horn player, instructor, and all around great guy. It has been my honor to play in the same line as you. Have a blast, the next 50 goes real fast. Judge

With Dave Orser writing the brass book, and Jamie Orser instructing it should be a great year for The Grenadiers. These are two great brass men, and I wish you all the best. Judge
