  1. Well taken: Now that our four cents are in lets move on. Thanks THE END
  2. I am sorry if you feel this is a squabble. That was not my intent. As a Drum Corps family I feel as though we should celebrate together and tribute together. I thank Bayonne for inviting us to pay tribute to Mr. Morecraft. We were proud to be a part of it and I don't think there was a dry eye in the house. Again, thank-you for the oportunity to be a part of your show and tribute.
  3. There were many who did not have music with them and only knew a bit of the piece. The whole idea was to get us all together and support Bayonne. We were all tired, but thats not what its all about. Drum Corps is a family. In my opinion, not supporting your fellow brothers and sisters of Drum Corps and just trying to impress the crowd is not what its all about.
  4. I have been a member of PCP for almost five years now. My wife and I met years ago in Drum Corps and my son was a member of junior corps for many years. I had not played in over thirty years befor joining PCP and was a bit overwhelmed by the great music and talent I saw . After being in for a short time I began to again feel comfortable. The PCP family wants everyone who joins to feel wanted and encourages each other on their progress. We are all in our 50s 60s and some in our 70s. There is no better way to spend time with friends, play great music and tell stories of the past. If you would like to join our family or just come and have a cup of coffee and sit in and play or listen please come to one of our practices or camps. Or music this year will bring back some great memories of your younger years. It may even bring a tear to your eyes.As you read in other posts, we have great instructors and management. 5. Found out last night that Bayonne, Park city Pride and Raiders will not be invited. The Marine group will be taking our spots this year.
  6. Big George was a teddy bear who loved life and his familys both in and out of drum corps. He loved playing his contra and being with his drum corps people. He fought the fight with a smile right to the end. George will be sadly missed by all who knew him. From your drum corps family we say I'LL BE SEEING YOU....................Rest in peace my brother.
  7. I was wondering if anyone had comments on the exhibition corps at the West Haven show
