Thanks Man. But seriously, If people want a Marching Band with brass and woodwinds and such then form MBI. Heck I would probably check out some shows. But DCI is not MBI it's just that simple.

Cool Yeah actually I've been a reader for awhile just started posting but I know what you're saying 67 pages alot. LOL

But you just said it Drum and BUGLE Corps I love marching bands I marched in 2 different ones for seven years. But, those rich histories of drum and bugle corps did not include woodwinds that I know of.

But it's not Band It was never meant to be. It was founded with brass and drums in order to be different from bands with brass and woodwinds and such. Now it's just going to become the same thing and that was not the point.

Here Here I've been giving my Heart, Enthusiasm ans yes Money to this activity now for 31 years. All it gets me and the thousands like me who did the same is a DEAF ear when it comes to trying to defend what we know to be Drum Corps. I love the Speed of the Modern Drill and the Sheer Insanity of the Excellent Music happening in todays drum corps. All I'm saying is It's drum and Bugle corps not Broadway and SAX corps. If somewhat started Marching Band International I might check out some of those shows every year but let's not turn DCI into MBI.

Man I always just come here and read but never post. I was getting ready to do a post saying "Gee, I bet Crown could kick ### with Defying Gravity" but then I read your post. LOL Oh well just to say with the way Crown's staff writes and the horn sound they have it would be INCREDIBLE! fan since 1976

I don't hate him, I just think that people like me, Or me personally who have given 31 years of enthusiasm, love and money are not getting listened to. It's like they don't care about what we have to say. I love the modern drum corps show. The music, The speed of the drill. The artistry of the player. And the color guards WOW. But it is not Drum corps anymore. I so totally agree that the name should change. MBI Try that in next years rules vote. I belive everyone can figure that one out.

We''ll have to wait and see. I agree that the bleeding is really about to start. I for one have been going to shows and spending money on corps for 31 years now and all it gets me and the others like me who have tried to help with our money and our enthusiasm is a deaf ear from the ones who benefitted. If Drum Corps bleeds as much as I think it will now, there will be even less money for a DCI broadcast on any outlet.
