HOW DO YOU TREAT YOUR ALUMNI?
David Hobart replied to tympmom's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
Alumni from the Rochester Crusaders are welcome to call me at any time to discuss anything related to the Corps. We constantly present the heritage of the Crusaders organization and I think it would be great for the members to hear it from those who have marched in the past. Crusaders alumni are always welcome to rehearsals and performances. It would be amazing to hear your ideas, suggestions, or concerns in a constructive way. Feel free - (917) 528-9340 As our activity evolves, so do the Crusaders. All best, David -------------------------------------- Public Relations/Business Manager Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps -

David Hobart replied to David Hobart's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
What an evening of drum corps in Everett! The Crusaders send our warmest thanks to Gene O'Brien, the Everett High School Marching Band and the Everett School District for being such hospitable hosts. What a sight it was to see so many Crusaders in one location! Additional thanks goes out to Boston Crusaders Alumni, Boston Crusaders Junior, Citations Junior, Rochester Crusaders, and Everett Marching Band for making history in bringing all these fine organizations together in mass. All Crusaders took the stage at the end of the show for a photo session. I will post these photos as soon as they are received along with some more detail about the performances. ------------------------------ Public Relations Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps -

Looking for something to do this summer? Spend your summer with us. Do you like to: Cook? Help line practice fields? Water the Corps (and watch it grow)? Help out with uniforms? Help out with our summer "Drums along the Owasco" show? The Crusaders are currently looking for people who might like spend some time with our drum corps this summer. If you spend as little as one weekend or the entire summer, your help in moving the Corps down the road would be very much appreciated! You can respond with a private message to me here! The drum corps season is here! --------------------------- Public Relations Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps

Hey Donny, Bruce was very much into the kids from South Africa (FBF). I talked to him about the program before he started to get sick and he wanted to help out... He was a good guy!

Memories and Condolences
David Hobart replied to TomPeashey's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
As Gary Goldstein previously stated, the entire Crusaders Organization sends our condolences to Bruce's family and the Brigadiers. The Hobart family sends our regards. Bruce was a marching instructor to my uncle at Marcus Whitman in the '80's. He taught me my right from my left at Canandaigua in the late '80's and has been involved in the lives of several of my cousins in recent years. It was always nice to run into Bruce in recent years. We always had great conversations about family, marching band, and Corps. Bruce was always an upbeat guy who loved the marching activity from colorguard to marching band and drum corps. His students were always made to feel like an extension of his family. Bruce was an amazing human being. He will be missed sorely by many. RIP, Bruce. ------------------------------------- Public Relations Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps -
