  1. Well, considering that we don't need as many seats along the front side as in the past, it would seem any decent small to mid-size college would do just fine.
  2. I hadn't planned on going to DCI that year, then I saw them in CA! Plans changed!
  3. Read it again, it says 'in step with the times'. That has NOT been the case the last 5 or so years.
  4. So, kinda back on topic. I'll be honest, when they announced the show for 2019, I was far less than thrilled about it. To me it was way to cheesy and, I believe, if anything 'may' have had an impact on who decided to try out for Regiment, it was that announcement. It just sounded too Spartacus' Sister-ish. And the yell at the beginning of the show sealed the deal for me. It was cringe inducing. 2020 has to be a new, in step with the times, fresh, production and, I believe, the title of the show must reflect that, if we are going to attract members . (just my 2 cents)
  5. I thought that was lite yellow, then again, I've never been in prison.
  6. They only way to solve this is to ask all the new Regiment members if they joined BECAUSE of website content, (which I highly doubt would be the case). But since that's not going to happen, I guess we'll never know.
  7. I personally could give a rip how outdated or updated their website is. I just want the show to be the best thing since sliced bread!
  8. I was going to say Levi stadium, but I'm not sure there are sufficient rehearsal facilities close by.
  9. I loathe domed stadiums, but understand the need.
  10. KC Santa Clara Pittsburgh Nashville I like Madison but unless something's changed, no parking lots.
  11. My comment was in reference to those that suggest a gradual progression of the design of the show concept.
  12. And if you don't put together a program that draws talent, you have other issues. So yes, talent is critical/crucial.
  13. While I mostly agree with the sentiments, in this 'what have you done for me lately' world, will the 'talent' stick around long enough to build back to respectability? I was hoping that the new design team would draw talent that would enable the corps to go beyond what is expected.
  14. Herein lies the problem. Who is charged with the development of the concept? A single individual or a team effort? In either case, it has got to be something that is comparable to the current DCI standards (I.E BD, Coats, etc).
  15. It was not on the same level as those in the upper echelon of corps that year. Then again, neither was the concept.
  16. JB's first visual writing for Regiment was 1980!
  17. If you have no idea what they're doing or why, then you won't know if it sucks or not.
