  1. Hi, I am a 52 year old corps nut with 25 years of tractor trailer experience. I have driven in all 48 mainland, Canada and even Mexico. I have extensive experience in NYC & Chicago. I am looking for a corps to drive for full time this summer. I live in the Pittsburgh area. You can call anytime at 724-712-5762.

  3. Could you please send pics, thanks. rabbit03@zoominternet.net
  4. My thoughts and prayers to both Carl, his family and Gayle. I also have had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Cook. My wife and I along with friends spent a drum corps weekend as his guest at his home along the Ohio River. The highlight, besides the show, was watching old drum corps tapes in his board room, wich was the second floor of a barn on the property. I credit Mr. Cook with getting Sr. corps DCI exposure. I am sure he had something to do with Steel City's 1990 DCI Finals appearence. If you read the DCI forum on Mr. Cook, you will notice the countless mentions of his behind the scenes generosity. He helped out financially with many corps anonymously. He will be missed by the entire drum corps community. I also credit Mr. Cook with creating a new venue for corps members to showcase their talents when he started "Blast". Many perfromers have furthered their careers by participating.

  6. Last I heard, they were taking the minicorps to the Reading show. There are a few guys who do the Westshore deal.
  7. Due to a busy work schedule, I am not able to check back often, I will try to respond at least twice a day. Thanks.
  8. They have had a reduction of numbers recently.
  9. They are not due to the cancellation of the mini corps contest saturday afternoon. I am sure some members will be in the audience and playing with other alumni corps that night.
  10. Due to unforseen circumstances, I will not be able to attend this year's Serenade in Brass indoor concert. I have 2 seats in section 307, row "C", seats 1 & 2. I would assume that they are aisle seats. I will sell them both together at face value, $18 each, $36 for both. I don't want to split them up please. I will pay for mailing by 1st class mail, but if you would like quicker, then the cost will be up to you to cover. I can accept PAYPAL, but am willing to work out any means of payment. Due to the short notice, I am also willing to send tickets out before payment received to assure them getting there in time. Serenade in Brass is probally the premiere indoor show on the east coast every year. This year's line-up includes: US Naval Academy Drum & Bugle Corps Hawthorne Caballeros Alumni Bridgemen Alumni Crusaders of Boston Buccaneer Alumni Park City Pride Yankee Rebels Alumni Hip Pickles Swing House Westshoremen Alumni Please email at rabbit03@zoominternet.net 1st come, 1st served.
  11. Notice how they had to illustrate for the drummers where to hold the mallet.
  12. I will assume this is a quartet solo. If so, the sops especially look very young. Anyone have more info? Thanks.
  13. Just curious, were all the girls of AAG blonde & blue eyed? Not that there is anything wrong with that.
  14. I don't know Sam about the no touch playmate thing, I know an awful lot of US Marines that could look way past a pair of glasses when it comes to females. I know you Airmen have high standards, but us jarheads, I recall something about if it moves...............................
  15. I just found these at my parents house. I know for certain they are from 1975 and somewhere in Canada. I attempted some PC fixing, but feel free to adjust if you like. These could be from these shows.
  16. Great story, thanks for sharing. One time Steel City on the way home managed to find the only GAY bar in western MD.
  17. "Come on kid, it only comes in one color, green, it is the Cavies you know."
  18. Another great shot for "add your own caption". "Hey, the crowd's this way guys, you're playing to the backside seats again!"
  19. This would make a great "add your own caption" contest. I am not sure if he looks pi$$ed off because his picture is being taken or if he is getting tired of a certain customer.
  20. This is why I did not try to tell Donny how to do anything on a PC, I couldn't even get the previous post right.
