  2. 2008 was 'sposed to be the 1st yr in that facility; Wasn't finished in time so we marched at Indiana University... If they still count '08, that would make it 2018.
  3. k this has to be the most absurd comment I've ever seen... risk taking? Really? You think BD takes more "risks" than Cavies?
  4. Wait ... so you're saying that they marched this show all season using hash marks for ref's and then for one show they said "don't use the hash marks for ref's?" I guess some people will strtch anything to "fit" their agenda; The suppsositon that you have something to do with law enforcement make me nervous. "Let's twist the evidence to prove him guilty" *Nice*
  5. This sounds like the political atmosphere now... if you can't win change the rules so you can. If you lose then, do you change them again?
  6. Couldn't have said it any better! These guys are like trying to be Siskel and Ebert wanna bees (sp) SHUT UP ALREADY! Going into detail that goes beyond absurd. Try not to think so much, you'll sound more intelligent when you do talk
  7. If that's "liking" the Cavies, then keep it, don't need it. I was there perfoming with the Classic Cavaliers. I'm sure you'll have some drool about how we hosed our perfomance also. Don't tell me you support us then rip us. Seems like you're a bitter wanna be flaming to make yourself feel better. Take a pill and relax and JUST ENJOY THE SHOW
  8. It's a shame that with all of your "talent" you sit on the sidelines and whiz all over apparently everyones shows. If you are so good, why aren't you an instructor "helping" these Corps improve instead of "Monday morning Quarterbacking" From the sidelines. Please ADD to the activity ;We already have Judges and recap sheets we don''t need your juvenile opinions. If you notice I've been on here for awhile, don't post that much, until wanna be flamers won't stop.
  9. Man I almost wet my pant :lolhit: s on seeing your Gabby Johnson thingy at the bottom, THAT'S FUNNY
  10. I just want you to back up your "hose" and you can't seem to that's all. Just to criticize with no back up is just ranting junk, it's stupid. You seem to have talent muscially (you're still playing) I was just hoping to seem some reason other than personal emotion
  11. You've posted a couple of times refering to the Cavie program as "hose jobs" Where is that coming from?
  12. Funny how the last line under your name seems to sum it all up..."Large Mouth Brass" BTW The C on the vest might give you a clue about Origin not the one that was edited out
  13. With all your "expertise" Why aren't you a judge?. They have them there you know, don't need any BLah BLah BLah from you! <**>
  14. Let's try that again... Sluggo YOU 'DA MAN! Hope to see you this summer! Everyone has "Their time in the Sun" I'm sure the Cavies as well as the others don't look on their season as "Sucessful" if they don't win it all, there can only be 1 winner ...and it's not up to them. Do the best you can have fun, and let the rest work itself out
  15. Maybe the post wasn't clear... I HAVE a Bb baritone, and can buy an inexpensive 2 valve G bugle Baritone. I wanted to know how only 2 valves performed compared to a 3 valve instrument. Is it just that you can't play anything with the #3 valve?
  16. this is Drum Corps in the 21st century????...no thanks!!! <**> Nice guy you are! <**> I marched before you were probably born! Now I would like a little help with an "Old Horn" Thanks for your help!
  17. I currently have a Bb Yamaha Baritone; a YBH301M. I've never played before, and am taking lessons on it. I have an opportunity to get a 2 valve G bugle Baritone. What is the difference? :( Is it just that it doesn't have the 3rd valve...(could it be that simple?) Is there any place to pick up fingering charts for this? I also believe that they write the music in the treble clef, not bass. Anything else you could tell a novice player?
