Whats your problem? I just kindly and respectfully gave my opinion yet you just threw all kindness out the door. Yes I agree woodwinds form a marching band but their is no need to attack me on this forum. I just think that more people on this forum should act like adults and express our own opinions on this forum like normal logical people would. This being said I will not return to this web page until I feel I need to come back and sooner or later post something again... I am just sick and tired of being attacked on this forum for giving out my own opinions... I will always be a DCI fan... I will always hope for the best...

Eh I guess I have much hope still for DCI... As I stated before and I am sticking with it... DCI will NEVER have woodwinds marching on the field... thats just my opinion...

And I never said they were... you missed my point... people wont go to DCI show rather they will go to DCA shows...

Thats because you are assuming that it wont stop... as a son of a business man... the business side is telling me if they allow woodwinds to actually march in DCI no one would show up to the shows... (thats including me) but also this is also certain... if DCI does allow it (which I highly doubt) DCA will get more ticket sales... but overall DCI will not allow woodwinds to march...

Now for this woodwind issue... many people know where I stand on this woodwind issue... now like I said before I am a woodwind player learning how to play another instrument so I too can march... but really?? Everyone just calm down... let it process for a second before concluding... yes Mike the Blue Stars did in fact use a clarinetist to play in an encore last season... if I am remembering right they played Rhapsody in Blue... thus they used a clarinet... now really the only difference in a pre-show and the encore is that the pre-show starts before the show and the encore is after the show... and both are not judged at all. In conclusion I much rather listen to MUSIC before the show instead of listening to commercials like what BD did last season... just everyone clam down and I am 100% sure that woodwinds will NEVER march in DCI...

Well... this is rather interesting... me personally I have been known for just staying in the shadows of this forum and posting on stuff like this (but when the season starts in 34 days I will post more) but more or less I am excited to see a new Corps attempt to field a show next summer... Why? Because going back into DCI history we used to have so many groups compete... we don't even have that many compared to way back when... however... the money thing is too on my mind... how in the world did they get so much money? I have no idea... more or less for myself I have realized that I really do not care how any group comes up with any sort of money... just as long as I see a group march I am happy!!

I am not yet a parent but I thought that this would be a very interesting post. First of all as a parent I would support what ever choice my kids would make... I do hope that my future children will want to march. That being said I will now start the list... If I have a son... 1. The Cavaliers... well its my favorite group... from what I heard they are great people and you will have a great time learning new things... 2. Phantom Regiment... Usually has the best musically selections... 3. Madison Scouts... you know sometimes you just want to entertain the crowd!! screw the scores!! Go have fun!! 4. Bluecoats... I just have a great feeling for the corps future... 5. Crossmen... I live in Texas so its a local corps... plus they have a great hornline! If I have a daughter... 1. Phantom Regiment... already said it!! ha ha!! 2. Bluecoats... once again!! 3. Crossmen... great hornline right??? 4. SCV... I love this group a lot!! they have great shows and really no how to please the crowd which is a plus 5. Blue Knights... This group put up a lot of interest for me... Just wait and see what they will do in the next few years...

Well I think that overall everyone wants to be friendly me for an example I was out of line. I liked the cavies show logo a lot and now that its gone I am a little disappointed but I think they removed it for a good cause... I started something that was more or less stupid. I still feel kinda bad about it but eh i'll get over it... afterall it is DCP. Anyways what what you're saying here I agree saturday morning cartoons have gotten worse. Overall though I doubt the cavies will have something that will make people flip out but have something that will make us go bat crazy.

I apologize for that sometimes I get defensive on what I believe... so once again I do apologize for starting a small problem and taking your time on something that was very immature... but other than that the cavies should do good this year am I right or am I right

Honestly people need to get over it. Seriously in 2008 The Cavaliers had samurais fight and in a couple of parts actually kill each other (I know its part of the show) and in Phantom Regiments show they did death parts in it. So... whats the difference?? I just think people need to just chill and enjoy the show.
