DO NOT miss this show , it is not a watered down lineup as you can see. EVERY corps has more than enough juice to do a memorable show & there are always some surprises too. Don't know what the ticket situation is ,but when I bought a couple about a month ago, they were going like hotcakes ! That is great news . BFDTV always does a quality recording job. I know the members of St. Kevins buy lots of the Plymouth Show recordings ,CD& DVD . This is such a good show every year, its nice to have a recorded memory . I still love to watch the Kilties show from the late 90s. Man, Just look at how we all remember ,just how big, powerful & freakin good they ALL were . When those Corps played company front to the stands ,my body would shake & the hair on my neck would stand up ! For Me it was the 67 Hurcs & Genero ,72 Sky & The 77 RI Matadors .Wow ,were we lucky to be there or what ????!!!!!! Mike D. St. Kevins

What is considered LATE ? We had rooms reserved for our Corps .Notice that Kevins could not make Rochester was given in EARLY June. you mean to tell Me that NO other Alumni Corps could have been substituted with a THREE month notice if the were called & wanted to attend. All alumni Corps show are established by June. Its not like Corps are in hibernation in early summer. This guy that is complaining that his ticket price was for nine corps & not eight is breaking My heart . Individuals that attend any multyday show with our corps lay out hundreds of dollers because he likes to performe with his corps. Kevins has plenty of money for buses & We have never charged members to ride & food & drink on the bus ride is FREE. Kevins travels to lots of "distance" jobs, unlike some other Alumni Corps. Everybody in the Alumni Corps world knows it too .The situation for Rochester is that lots of individual members are hurting in these tough financial times. Very sorry some fans are dissapointed . Hi All , We , St. Kevins , have a very healthy Corps. Seems that after the commitment to attend The DCA Alumni show was made some things changed. A few members of the drum line are attending a family wedding & quite a few other members of the Corps did not want to spend that much money to play at a show. so having a 44 man horn line & going to Rochester with 20 really didn't sit well with the Board of Directors. We played at Gillette Stadium, home of the N.E. Patriots, last week & are playing in Boston tomorrow. Kevins is very healthy & we will see you all at the big Plymouth show in Nov. Hi All, That harpoon was custom made with a ball bearing mounted handle & could spin with ease .watch out for the meatgrinder !!! Mike Mendoza still has that symbol of the New Bedford Whalers mounted on his wall in his Florida house. Mike was also a member of the RI Matador Alumni Corps & The St. Kevin Emerald Knights Sr. Corps. before he retired. The Whalers were very proud to have that harpoon out in front as a sign of New Bedfords history as the Whaling Capital of the World & the "Mobey Dick" Story.
