last I heard Holy Name is marching 72. Just a rumor though, I'm probably wrong

I know it's been said a lot, but I feel it needs to be reiterated. EVERY corps is having a great season until June 20th. On that note, Troopers... JK. But seriously. Simply for the fact that they're marching more than four weapons. And all improvement from last year aside, their show is much more modern than previous years. I didn't say they're doing better, I just said the music is more modern. No spaghetti western in it either. I want them to make top 12, but I really have no say in the matter. I have a great deal of bias, and I haven't heard a lot from other corps. This is me just wanting to put another name in there that seems to be overlooked when talking about corps barely sneaking in to top 12. I also have a great deal of bias for Holy Name, and I believe they will win this year, but again, the fans don't decide who wins. Maybe I'll just blackmail a judge... ...I'm kidding. 1. Holy Name 2. Phantom 3. Blue Devils 4. Cavaliers 5. Santa Clara 6. Crown 7. Bluecoats 8. Blue Stars 9. Boston 10. BK 11. Colts 12. Troopers

I'm surprised more people aren't looking to Troop to break in to Saturday. Some bias here, but I do think the largest thing holding them back from higher placement last year was the size of the guard, and they've drastically improved on that this year. We all saw how much they improved from 2007, I think they could do it again.

1. Holy Name (Birthday Bump, "No" voice, Bernstein - what's bad about that?) 2. Phantom (It's always hard to follow up a show like Spartacus though) 3. Cavies (This is kinda like "glass" place now, except it's for the Green machine) 4. BD (Honestly don't know a lot about their show. IMO I thought "absurdity" was a little over-rated. Please don't hate me) 5. Crown (They can only improve so much before they falter. And having a show about all closers is pretty impossible to improve on from a design point of view) 6. Santa Clara (They want revenge on Coats for last year) 7. Bluecoats (Imagine will either make them phenomenal or make them lose a little. I've heard some very abstract things about their show and I'll be interested to see how it plays out on the field) 8. Blue Stars 9. BK 10. Boston Crusaders 11. Colts (They want back in the top 12 soooo bad) 12. Troopers (Bigger guard, improved show design, drill, and music will make them a contender for saturday) Huge Bias and quite irrational rankings towards the bottom. Honestly, I want Troop to make top 12 just so America's Core 2 won't be a disappointing movie to watch.
