Cadets should be on now. Wonder if they'll blow through all the changes or struggle with "muscle memory" Such a mental thing when you're used to doing things the exact same way for 10,000 times lol Not even the reworked ending, but the tempo and music/count changes throughout the show I know I'd screw up

ok - I just want you to know I could care less "yes we can" is used in the program - I believe it! And I certainly don't hate the man - I think he means well and is a good person and family man. And your rant is completely fair - people get crazy over politics lol Back on topic - it will be interesting to see how the Cadets score tonight with all the changes - the reworked ending is pretty straight forward - but the tempo changes and adding/subtracting counts during the show and reworking drum parts etc -- maybe it will be too much too quick, or maybe they'll blow right through the changes. So much muscle memory involved at this point in the season Takes a lot of focus and it's so much MENTAL the first show or two after big changes So I guess the score tonight/tomorrow night will tell us a little about all that.

Um I never said I "hate" Obama. In fact I went on to state that the use of "yes we can" in the show (to remain on topic) seem very innocuous and fits well with the theme of the show which is "promise" and "optimism" - I only said "in fact I can't stand Obama" (as a President was assumed) to make the point that folks shouldn't be taking the quotes as political in nature - none of them are, if you look through the quotes used I specifically stated I didn't have an issue with the use of the phrase and was arguing (with others) that the show isn't political AT ALL I'm also not a very political person in general (register Independent) - but there were other folks on here trying to politicize the show - which IMO it's not I really like the theme (to stay on topic) of the program which I guess reminds the viewer of all the struggles we've been through as a nation - civil war, slavery, depression. wars - and how we've overcome all of this. Very positive & moving. Sorry if I was misunderstood.
