It was AWFUL! Anytime the bass drums, a low sythesizer note, or a suspended cymbal roll played, you lost any sound for the 4-5 seconds as those sounds died away. There was hardly ever any complete silence, as the din (sp?) or residual sounds from what just happened just kept ringing. I was on the 50 yard line in the bottom rows of section 640.
I was really shocked that with the perfect weather outside that the roof and stadium ends were NOT open. I thought having this ability was the reason for choosing Lucas Oil.
I will definitely rethink ever coming to finals again. It's nothing like the sound of an outdoor stadium, and since corps don't get to rehearse inside, why would they want a championship inside? It makes no sense, aside from being able to close the roof in the event of rain.
