  1. Americanos Alumni Association plan to move forward. See what they are up to. Purpose Purposals
  2. Hey there Thanks for posting that we are in the running. The Alumni Assoication is trying to get more votes for the Americanos. More money for next years Corps. The americanos are planning on Starting a local parade corps for area kids. So if you have a extra vote to spare, we would appreciate it. VIVA!!!
  3. It was Quite funny seeing the neighbors looking down the street when we put everything together. Many of them got a taste of what their street was named after. Drum corps Dr that is.
  4. Heres another video. THis is of us sight reading the music. Second time through. Three hours of rehearsal. Thank you for your support PIONEER!
  5. I was shocked that he put a new hat on. "Got to get in the spirit"
  6. That is correct, That was my hat for the sdca show, I had to post this.
  7. Hey Pat Thanks for Posting this! Yes its all true, Pioneer didnt march as the americanos though. The Idea was to have pioneer march with the alumni, to represent Drum corps being back in the fox valley. The Kids learned Really fast, We had everything put together in about three hours. There were about 68 horns total. Comprised of pioneer kids, pioneer staff, and Alumni from the Americanos. We also added about 8 guard to the mix. Huge THANK YOU goes out to the PIONEER organization, Thank you for your support and good luck this season! VIVA.
  8. You would be correct, The sdca corps is staying local, trying to gain support. They are excited to be performing again. For most its been decades.
  9. Heres the Americanos performace. 4/18/2010 The corps placed 3rd via peoples choice. Thank you SDCA. You have helped us continue our Tradition.
  10. Its that time again. The Americanos are ready for parade season. This year we chose to do thing a bit different, instead of taking something from our past, we are looking at todays charts. Updates will be posted as the corps progresses. Compared to: Heres a flash back recently found 1982. All of these videos belong to the Americanos Alumni Association. VIVA!
  11. We are still to working with our alumni, we are producing a small alumni corps. As of yet, dont get your hopes up for Jr corps. Far too much needs to be done to get the organization on that level again. The hall needs to sold, until that happens every thing is up in the air.
  12. The Americanos are wishing everyone a happy and successful new year! VIVA!
  13. The SDCA corps is coming along. I havent had a chance to go to a rehearsal yet, but I plan on it soon. I will be going to an Americanos Board meeting sometime soo to see what the status of everything is. Plans for this year is for the Americanos to host a Flag day Drum corps (SDCA that is), all the corps would march the parade just like the good ol' days. The alumni association will be incharge of the Parade corps as we were last year. With the SDCA corps and the addtional alumni coming to appleton, we hope to have about 100 people in attendance. Things are looking good. People are still coming forward, we are still gaining support. This will be Appletons 60th Flag Day parade. Appleton has one of the Largest and oldest Flag Day parades in the United states. With Flag day first orginating in Fredonia, Wisconsin we want this to be special. There have been alot of drum corps that marched that parade naturally we would like to have others march in the parade too. We have a couple of ideas up our sleeves. We have an exciting year to look forward to.
