    I know someone who was in the front ensemble and explained Avian in extreme detail, and I still don't see it, at all. Some shows just don't come off to some people no matter how much they're told about it. Thankfully Boston's not one of those for me personally this year.

    I'm pretty sure the show is just depicting the utter dread and darkness of socialism in that time period of Russia, I think a lot of us are over thinking it. That's how I'm interpreting it and I freakin love it, second favorite show of the year behind Bluecoats.

    I really don't think it's a big deal for someone to want to move onto bigger and better things if that's what their heart desires. I can see wanting to be loyal as well though, I guess it depends on the situation. I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with either. What I don't like, I'll use a certain person I know as an example, is when a certain someone I've met, the corps they're associated with shall remain nameless, absolutely trashed a few members that went on to a corps that placed well above where they were in the same section with this nameless person. Said horrible, mean, and disgusting things about the corps they were going to, and why the one they were in was so much better, and that they were betraying them and that they didn't have any dignity. I get having pride in your corps, but being an ######## because someone chose to move on? Come on, give me a break. Some people just want something different, or quite frankly to be in a better corps because their playing ability warrants it. Me? I cannot say, since I'll probably just rookie out next year, I guess I won't be able to know. But I tend to be a pretty loyal person that forms bonds, and I don't like to break those. I get pretty emotionally attached to any bonds I make. I'd say I would probably stay with whoever I started with, I guess that's just the kind of person I am. I'm not too competitive, I'm all about the experience. I can see the other side though, nothing wrong with that.

    It's like my parents always told me when my brother and sister were being outrageously annoying, "just ignore them and they'll stop". There's always those idiots that try to get a rise out of you, the worst thing you can do is write up some big rant in response, because that's exactly what they want. That happened to me a few weeks ago, ignored this certain poster, reported it, and boom, haven't seen a peep out of them. There's always going to be people out to criticize what I, you, or anybody says, it's just your job to decide who's opinion is actually worth taking the time to read and take seriously. I stopped taking everything so personally on here, and it's become a lot more enjoyable. When one of those people decides to go after me, I just ignore them and let them on their merry way. If you ignore those people, there's actually some really awesome discussion that goes on here, lots of awesome people to disagree with that will respond in a civilized manner, Mr. Brasso comes to mind, sure sometimes what he says is pretty out there, but I love the way he puts things, in a respectful manner. And as far as MMs, staffers who read on here, I always keep in mind when I'm typing away that what I'm saying doesn't make me look like a fool to them. And for those bringing up the red and green like/dislike buttons, I think that was part of the host site that does these forums, there's another site I use that uses this same set up and when they upgraded those went away as well, I don't think that's the DCP admins doing.

    I would be really surprised if those stayed black, they don't show up well at all. I know the panels have stuff planned for them, but not sure about the floor plan tarps.

    HUGELY impressed with Genesis on the Fan Network, didn't count, but that looks like a pretty massive corps for open class. I've seen SCVC, BDB, Genesis, some of Music City, 7th Regiment, Spartans, Legends, Gold, ect., this is shaping up to be a fantastic year for Open Class, I'm very excited to see how they do over the season!

    Videos up on the Fan Network, and since I know it will probably get read by a grand total of 3 people on the Open Class forum, GENESIS! I was pretty worried when I saw they were completely switching programs in the Spring, but man, that's going to do very well in August. Watch out Open Class, and World. They're continuing to get stronger and stronger year in year out. That's a big corps too.

    If Crown's GE scores were matching their music and visual, they'd probably be on top. Interested to see what they do over the 6 days they're taking off to fix that.

    Same here, glad they got ahold of this staff last year, and I hope they can hold onto them.

    Strongest design for sure, not Houdini, but miles better than the last few shows, they're sure as hell not dropping out of finals.
