  1. '84, d.c.i. canada in hamilton. cadets were doing west side story. it changed my life, as over-dramatic as that may sound it's true. i'm adding a comment to a forum about drum corps 18 years after i aged out. yeah, safe to say it changed my life!
  2. you tube"1987 DCI Snare Individuals. Dave Hart" -this is fast.
  3. do they still make real-feels? i still play on one, and although its old it still feels, well...real
  4. well, i'm old. that being said, i played at giants stadium and that means a lot to me. these memories are with us forever and if you're lucky like me you will have memories of warming up outside of the meadowlands and then meeting up with the rest of the corps and slowly entering a stadium like that. i'm not afraid to tell you,... it was awesome!
  5. perhaps you've misunderstood me. if you can play clean on stands, not being able to feel the notes throughout your body, essentially detached from your instrument, than naturally and logically, when your wearin' em and feeling every little grace note you should be able to play clean. am i explaining this right? tell me if i'm making sense, honestly, 'cause i'm truly not sure if i am. this is how it was explained to me. and we would never have a harness tan...ever!
  6. if you can play it clean on stands, than you will definitely be able to play it clean wearin' em. that's a fact. besides, when else can you work on your "even tan"!
