Once again the topic is self-explanitory I was bored with the cleanest show so here's the best story telling show, post and debate at will, my personal views are: My top two are between Phantom 08 and Devs 09, Phantom had a great story line (even though it was way off from the movie and actual history) and the Devs told quite a bit of American History revolving around the great depression era. My Next one in line would have to be between Crown 07 and Cadets 09, yes Cadets 09 way outperformed Crown in 07, but Cadets little west side thing I could really follow since I know the play, and Crown 07 was a great show design revolving around the horse race wich I still like to watch. Now what im not sure quite qualifies but im putting down anyways are these two being Cavies 04 and 02, because in 04 it had the auror of James Bond in everyway, and I just thought when seeing the drill and hearing the music the movies come to mind so I thought of it as a bit qualified. Also in 02 I just though that overall it relates to all the fighting and war movies we watch when you really think about it. Feel free to input ideas and debate, just please don't blow up the gas station (a little joke about flaming someone if ya didnt catch it)

One of my friends is a big time Cadets fan, he loves every aspect of it, and will rather die than admit Crown or someone else is better overall than the Cadets. However after he heard Crown beat Cadets in finals he looked like he had just gotten over a hookworm treatment yeah me and him always argue which one is better Crown or Cadets, always funny to see him go nuts trying to prove me wrong (both are great corps however regardless of which one you like better)

Yeah totally forgot about them when I was doing the OP, but yeah very clean in my book.

haha yeah I had a feeling its been done alot before, but I do agree they have a legit shot this year, not a oh were top 6 we have a shot, but the I got silver and we still kick ### shot at gold. Speaking of Gold how about that Apollo Ohno?

Basically the title says it all, what corps, and what year do you think was the absolute cleanest overall regardless of score and personal bias since the year 2000? Personally I say its between the The Cavaliers in 2002 and the Devs in 2009. Though out of those two I think the Cavies would be the cleanest, but not by much, any opinions out there?

yeah, idk, I would say try it small scale first one one horn like my mouthpipe idea so that you dont go to all the trouble on the whole thing, cause if you have it for the mouthpiece and the mouthpipe it should be a distinguishable difference in any aspect whether better or worse. You could get a gun smith to help ya. but yeah if I were you I would have a go at it and se how it goes. Personally I would try it on a strad from the 80's-90's cause they wont be very high and their not antiques. Plus a strad is a very good quality horn so you would have quite reliable tests from it. Though if its turned horrid into like a monster or something that is unrecongnizable, do it the honor and send her home lol right back to the factory for her final resting place haha. but yeah good luck with however you do it. Um try asking around on the Trumpetmaster, some of those guys may be able to tell you alot about what your thinking.

Well, I figured you've got the silver medalist coming through this year, completely black uniforms (from a rumor that I heard) and lots of vets (another thing I was once again told by my friend who auditioned) along with a great season and great staff. I'm beginning to think that they will have a pretty good shot this year (as in really really good) and so what are your thoughts? I personally think that Crown and Devs will go back and forth all summer, and eventually Crown will come out on top, perhaps like a 08 score between the two.

Hm, intrigueing, I dunno how well that would work or if it would at all, it would seem to me that you would need to rifle the entire length of the mouthpipe in order for it to be come effective as a test. Um... You could get a used horn (a strad maybe), talk to blackburn and get them to create two identical pipes, have them put one on blindly after you get used to way the original leadpipe played, then after you get used to how the new ones plays get them to put on the 2nd one, that in my view would be sufficent enough to test, its cheaper than the whole horn. and yeah, if you only rifle the mouthpiece (just since ive been around guns for along time) then you'll get some spin to it but not alot, if your just blowing air it needs to be longer, your not spinning a projectile, your spinning air. to expensive for me to test since im just in high school and jobless (wooooo yay for all of those jobs we were supposed to get ) But yeah thats my take on it, and what I would do if I were you, but idk??? its a different concept you'd have to test. OH. and if you do rifle the mouthpipe and the mouthpiece, you need to have the grooves able to align themselves, by like a mark on the mouthpipe and on the mouthpiece where you line the lines up like sights on a gun, and therefore the grooves line up. but good luck! (if it all works out rifle the entire thing haha)

Ya cant let it die fully, it "evolves" and I hate the woodwinds, but this being fully professional, it cant die thats my view, until it becomes waht BOA is, then it can just go jump off a cliff for all I care. However keep the woodwinds out. Its a little late to rant about electronics

ew..... it may be classic but that went out along time ago in my view, they need a remake but not to that. Anyways I hope they pull up in the next few years!
