South Shore: Flag feature the best all weekend for me Black Watch: Simpley beautiful, great concept Fantasia: I felt like I was watching a major motion picture musical, just breathtaking Carmel: There are no words to describe how amazing I thought this show was Santa Clara: So happy it took gold, upbeat and beautiful Orlando Visual: What a way to end a fabulous year Zydeco: Love the bad guys, fun fun fun Onyx: I was sad to see they cut up my most favorite floor ever to make this years. I have to find a picture of that floor and have it made into a poster. Lyman: I really love this show was sad so many people never got to see it Apopka: Has one of the most compelling preformers to watch I loved most of what I saw this weekend. The future of winter guard will be full of diversity and that is a very good thing.

I was at A finales and was so happy to see this team do so well. I thought they stayed true to themselves, brought that south shore style they are famous for to a new level. The South Shore family has so much to be proud oh in these young men. That was the best flag feature of the weekend IMO.

I loved the pre show stuff some teams maybe went over board a little but all in all I love it.

Ok here is my post WGI rant. People be on your best behavior at shows. We are crammed in to UD like sardines and you find it acceptiable to behave so poorly. I will not call out names because you know who you are section 309 row E seats 9 & 10 and row D seats 6,7 & 8. Row E if I had been sitting in front of instead of next to you I would have thrown your expensive camera over the railing. Really sitting your camera between 2 peoples heads and just clicking away the whole night very rude. I have to give props to those people in front of you because I would not have been so kind as to not say a word. And now row D we often times in this world wonder why young people act badly, talk durring shows, text, talk on phones, generly disrupt the people around then. Well here is the answer BECAUSE THEY SEE THEIR PARENTS DO THE SAME THING! Shut up, sit down, turn your phone off and don't comment about every drop another team makes you never know who is sitting next to you.You also give your team a bad reputation. I know you don't want me sitting behind you bad mouthing your child and their show. So as they used to preach to us as kids IF YOU DON'T HAVE SOMETHING NICE TO SAY, SAY NOTHING AT ALL! When you put on a team shirt it doesn't matter if your a preformer or a fan not assocated with the team you now repersent the team. Please repersent them well

While this show was not my cup of tea, and I can see how the preformers might have felt about all the discussion. The rude display at retreat was just plain unbeliveable.

Rumor has it all world guards gunning for a top 15 spot. I just left the Southeast Champs and this show has improved a lot. I happen to love fun, kick ###, upbeat shows like this one. Having been around this team for a very long time I would like to say to the preformers "decide if you want to sit in the stands on Sat night or be on the floor and then make it happen!" From here on out its up to you. As for some of the other posts in this thread. You can have a style that works for you and stay inside your comfort zone as long as it feels right for you. But just use Nei as an example they steped outside their box after years of doing the same style of show and look what they achived. Of corse they jumped back in the box and sadley have taken Premonition with them. I like Freak but I don't see premonition and thats who I want to see. I can't wait untill my mecca begins. I wish everyone to have your best show ever no matter where you place. Leave It On The Floor No Regrets!

Like I have said befor the old Fahrenheit is back!! and welcome home Jim we missed you

The score may not have shown it but Fahrenheit was amazing. The old Fahrenheit is back in full force, fun, exciting, great energy, they blew the doors off the gym. Look for Orlando Visual to make finales unless they get promoted and even then look for them in finales. Great show Stephen Porter is really make his mark as a designer, and that leads me to Lyman HS love this show it has great potental thought it should have won this class. Gainsville Ind. was also rocking the house, fun to watch and the boys really got tude, they stole the show. Apopka HS is really polished for the first show, hard work has paid off, the performers were so well trained and the show so well writen, the use of the props was so smooth throughout the show really enjoyed watching these kids. Of course many of the high schools only had partial shows done but the season looks very promising in the FFCC

Ok here are my thoughts. I really felt Braddock should have won world class. I know everybody loves NEI and I have to some years. Thier equipment book is one of the best if not the best. It is however not all about the equipment book and Braddock's show has it all. While I'm sure their are some who found the concept a problem, anything relating to religion is always a touchey subject. I really think the show has outstanding GE moments, thier equipment book is also very difficult that rifle feature was amazing, movement I thought was better than NEI as well ensemble they really put the whole package on the floor and thats really what I want to see in a show. The red flag is not a problem not that in your face. I just don't beleve NEI is a top 5 guard this year I don't want to see the same basic show year after year and thats what I get from them. The first 2 times they did a show like this I loved it now show me something new. Last year they went back to what they were doing 3 years before. Still want to see something cutting edge. Braddock has clearly steped out of their box on this one and I hope they keep doing this. This is my all time favorite Braddock show. The rest of the placement was accurate IMO however I don't think the spread should have been so much between 1st and last. I'm a big Fahrenheit fan and hpoed this show would score better. One of the reasons I'm such a fan is each year I see a show thats different.
