The Columbians are excited to welcome Back Mike Apodaca for the 2015 season! Mike will assume the role as Percussion Caption Head for the 2015 season. Mike Apodaca Started his Drum Corps career as a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets and aged out of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps. Mike has been teaching Drum Corps since 1991. He has worked with such groups as The Seattle Cascades, Spirit of JSU, Colts and The Santa Clara Vanguard. Mike lives in Portland Oregon where he has worked with numerous High School band programs. Mike also Performs with the Portland based band World's Finest, whose up beat, energetic music has been filling venues all over the Pacific Northwest. Mike is endorsed by Vic Firth.

I know Spokane Thunder is working on the 2015 season. We at the Columbians are waiting for our Brothers and sisters return to the active Drum Corps Field.

The finish on the 6 and 8 are close to the same but not the same. You really don't see those drums anyway

Bass drums are 18,22,24,26 and I have set the tenors up as 6,8,10,12,13,14 the 6 and 8's are not stock to the sets

As a Director of an OC corps, I feel they did it right in shutting the corps down the way they did. They knew they could not continue , so they cut it off. That gives the members plenty of opportunity to seek out another group. No promises to the staff and then have to tell them they won't get paid. It's easy to sit back and arm chair quarter back what they should or shouldn't do

In the columbians we had an all in fee of 588.00 for the year. We did 4 shows and ended in the black. Starting on the 2014 season now

I am so proud of all the members, staff and parents of the Columbians. As of this evening we finish our first compition season in Boise id. The temp was well over 100 but the members played their hearts out. Now we start for next year

I have a custom Pearl Marching Drumline for sale. The Druma are carbon core snare drums and quints, bass drums are standard maple shells. The finish on the drums is Emerald Green Mist with chrome hardware. These drums were used by 2009 SC Vangaurd and come with carriers. I have 4 snares, 2 quints and 4 bass dru8ms. the drums are in nice condition, with one set of quints having some nics and scratches on the back of the 14 inch drum, but if you put stick bags on you can not see them. News from out west....... The Columbians Drum Corps had their DCI evaluation yesterday at our April camp. It is our pleasure to anounce we have joined the ranks of acrive open class corps for the 2013 season. Looks like we will feild a corps of about 69 members for our first year.

I wanted to update our Drum Corps family on The Columbians progress. We had our first practice on saturday at Hanford High School in The tri cities of Washington. We had 76 perspective members attend, from 12 local schools. We are so excited about the camp.The future is looking good. in a time when more and more corps are folding, we will offer afordle Drum Corps to the tri cities. We are Columbians!!!!!!
