I love this show design for PR so much ... best PR show in who knows how long. Definitely my favorite since Tarandot, and this one might be designed even better than that one (it's been a while since I've watched it).

How long until we see "digital flags" in a DCI show?

Troopers’ drums are fire

This is such an awesome Troopers show. Great follow up after last year. So thrilled to see them have a solid foothold in the Top 12 at this point.

Love the show. Just seems particularly weird that it’s Blue Stars doing it. Seems more like something Bluecoats would do.

Agree. I see Troopers and Colts challenging Cavies and Blue Stars by the end of the year. It’ll be fun to watch.

Surprised that the scoring is so close between BK and PC, tbh. Maybe it’s a matter of difficulty.

May be my favorite trombone feature of the year. It’s so gorgeous.

The tarp works alright in person (although it tends to get wrinkled and split in the middle). Doesn’t really work at all on camera.

My first time seeing The Colts this year. Love this show. They’re great.

Brings back memories of BK’s best show

BK is improving. The beginning and end has gotten pretty good. The middle 60-75% is a bit of a mess still though. Thought the soloist sounded the best that I’ve heard from them so far.

Excited to finally see everyone go head-to-head tomorrow. Should be fun and interesting.

It's kind of a central moment in the source material though, IMO. This is an obvious exaggeration, but would you arrange Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and take out all references to Ode to Joy? Maybe. But no one would fault you for leaving it in.

I’m surprised by BAC being second in brass, but in reality, the Flo sound was so bad tonight it’s really not fair to judge in any of the music categories from home.

Cadets get 5th in visual proficiency, but only .4 behind Bloooo? I don’t get that.

Crown third in brass, BD 1st and BAC 2nd

The first time I saw this BD show, I thought: “Yeah, another solid BD show that will probably win.” But it didn’t stand out to me as anything that special. After watching it several times, and seeing it get better and better, I think it is a very special show. One of my favorite BD shows since I started following the activity around 2010. I don’t see anyone beating it.

Parts of this show remind me of the Dada show, which I absolutely loved … and most other people loathed at the time.
