So I have seen the Crossmen live, watched practice twice and this corps is on it's game. Three days of practice coming up and finally a full panel this weekend I belive. Last year they stalled for a week at this time and this time and I don't expect that to happen this year. The communication between the staff and the students is pretty impressive. I expect a top 7-8 finish this year. They just got it going on.

To all the naysayers, be patient, it's is being worked and the licensing issues are being resolved.

Is it me or is this true, He has judged GE Music, Music Analysis and Brass five times in the last month and has maintained a roughly 1.5 point spread all five time against three different judging categories to the Blue Knights !

I was just thinking the Crossmen are getting a new "uniform" this year after wearing the current version for the last 10 years. As I think back I believe the Cadets, Vanguard and Boston seem to maintain a semblance of a uniform. With all the sighting, It feels more and more we are going to costumes for the Brass and Drum sections? Flame on

One of the more fascinating things is 1995-1999. 10th, 8th, 6th, 7th, and 10th. Go back and look at the staff and director who was really the program coordinator. It says it all! And scary at the same time.

Clearly the Crossmen visual design was the corps achilles heal in 2013 and more than likely keep them out of finals. Not sure they ever went beyond the 35 yard line in any given set. So now what!

Anyone know the judging slates for the week?

Interesting crossmen get a 77.50 in San Antonio on July 20, 2013 and receive a 77.55 on July 21, 2012 Only difference 1 day and one year COINCIDENCE!

Well once again with a proven design team and a renewed committment to the Crossmen grove and sound, 2011 is more of the same. Stalled by the third week of July and once again no movement with the rest of the pack. Are you kidding or should we send in the slotting for next year in October!
