I am not sure having to go after Blue Knights and Blue Stars is doing any favors for Spirit tonight. Really like their show this year, the fight for 12th is going to be great to watch finals week!

It looks like the Blue Stars are finally starting to get that show, which is a beast under their feet. The question is will they run out of time with only 2 weeks left. The improvement from week to week since Minneapolis is very noticeable

While definitely the best corps so far tonight, I thought BK had some shaky moments that I didn't notice last week....

Then it should really be mixed up, not just slightly! There are a few draws at this show that separate corps that have been in close competition all summer. SCV has been closer to Bluecoats and Phantom than where they are performing. Along those lines Madison, Boston, Blue Stars, and Blue Knights have been close all year. and Spirit has been close with the 3 corps that are on before the long intermission.

Based of the scores from San Antonio, where SCV did not beat Bluecoats. I am not a fan of the random groupings of three. Just go off of the placements from the previous regional.

I just finished catching up on the shows from San Antonio and man do the Blue Stars have some crazy drill. So much demand in this show. If they can get it clean in time it will be awesome to watch!

What about the other 11 Word Class corps that will be preforming before BK.....do they not exist anymore???

There are way more fan friendly shows than just those four.....

I can see that. And I can see the Cavies pulling ahead and being the clear winner during finals week. or the Cadets to come steamrolling their way in during finals week. and even the Blue Devils winning again this year. Any of the top 4 could win this year.

PR is obviously very talented, but the show design bores me....the pacing is way too slow throughout the show.

I think it is a way to hide the fact that there is little to no demand for any of the members except the soloist and guard...... Besides the ballad I like their show, much more entertaining that last years show.

Well when you look at the show concepts I would hope the Trooper's show is more emotional than the Blue Stars show about the Jason Bourne character. The Trooper's show is ver emotional, the Blue Stars show is an action packed chase scene.

They do have backs, but didn't use them tonight for some reason. Hopefully they will be used tomorrow so we can get the full effect.

I was just speculating, I really don't have an opinion on what the staff decides to do, as long as they are putting out entertaining shows!
