  1. Boston Crusaders - Boston, MA Madison Scouts - Madison, WI Spirit of Atlanta - Atlanta, GA Crossmen - San Antonio, TX Will the scores be closer for Spirit and Crossmen? Will Madison make it a battle with the Crusaders?
  2. Being the proud drum corps alum and now proud drum corps dad of one of the Crossmen brass players, it is very impressive to see the wide support of the corps. They are striving to bring drum corps back to drum corps and not to prop corps. The Crossmen are very appreciative of your support and I know they are all dedicated to making the 2011 production memorable and hopefully in the finals.
  3. I am stuck In Texas. I went to a few spirit camps in 85. My skin still gets goisebumPs for Georgia. Love the percussion intro w the bass drum lead in. Hope Spieit gets on the fan network soon.

  7. Thanx for the time to update us drum corps nuts. My son is in Crossmen this year and loves the music you have written, The kids love the music and are hoping for good stuff this summer.
  8. Will they at least give the scores of the corps that finished?? of Course there is no winner of the show as all the corps didnt participate. Do the fans get a refund? Do the corps get paid something even if they dont perform? or how does that work again?
  9. or the heated conversations with the judges about the show they just dont understand! I knew of times staff wanted to punch the judges out! lol those were the days.
  10. to TJ Gale, what is a split soprano? is that like a lead or lower lead? or like a repriano?
  11. can u guys argue about judges in private ?? lol i am dying to hear about the show tonite! it is killing me to see a new post only to see you guys argue about a percussion judge.
  12. yes please give us the updates. how did you like the crossmen show????
  13. I was there as well. Too bad we couldn't have a nighthawk mini reunion. I saw their preview show the nite before. I pretty much felt the same way as you. Horns will get better. Staff is very good. I am hoping tuning gets a little better and the kids don't try to push their tonal quality past their limits. If they can translate the standstill performance to the field when they are doing the show my worries will be lessened. I am very optimistic.
  14. For those who have heard the crossmen in person or on yt , what is your impressing their brass musicality?
  15. Everyone was asking if the guard member was a girl or guy. Lose the bra dude. Less distracting
  16. I Haven't seen it. I looked for it just now but no luck. Do u have a link? Dan
  17. Kris hammOnd? Did he march corps in the 80s? He is the brass caption head.
  18. Terrytroop. I marched nighthawks w you. I played lead soprano. It was the second and third year if the corps
  19. My son is marching contra this year. I have been listening to the growth of the corps in the past few weeks. Jason has been firm yet fair with all the kids. The brass staff is impressive. I wish they were around when I marched sky in 85! The entire corps is dedicated to making a good production and are working as hard as anyone! Go bones! I have high expectations!
