Erik Johnson would be an upgrade to anyone's design team, of course. He is the godfather of the modern DCI pit. That being said... Anyone who thinks the pit arranger at PR is the problem is out of their mind. Matt Jordan is an incredible arranger and those kids played their ###es off. Wouldn't change a thing there.

Fwiw, The Cavaliers played Stubernic in '97 and came in 2nd (99.5 to SCV's 99.7). I believe this was either right before or right after it got published. 8-man walk-around on 3 marimbas! They played Afta-Suba in '01. Can't remember the result, though (didn't march or teach that year).

Assistant DM in '06 was a quad player. Yes, Tommy was a guard member. Assistant DM 08/DM 09 was former pit section leader.
