That would be at the cost of the show caliber if they missed their rehearsal time. Taking 1 day a week is a lot of show cleaning throughout the summer. I would say you need to get connected with an event on TV and get a block of time they would let donate. Or get on some major talk shows and get exposure there. The problem is that it would need to be something they can do year round. People forget about stuff that they don't do often. If someone goes to a drum corps show that doesn't normally go to music things or such will forget about it by the next season. The problem with that is corps don't maintain a full size year round to support that. Not to mention you would need more entertaining and ear friendly for the average person (Crown 2010 for example).... The key is getting people interested first so you want them to recognize what they are doing and have some sort of connection.

Recounting all the scores so if someone wants to check for errors they can. Scoring system goes like this. Closest to the spread gets the most points. In the case of a tie, correct corps win over wrong corps. If there is still a tie, both people get the max points. (ex. Scores would be 5 4 3 3 1 since there was a tie they take the 2nd spot too) Correct Corps Scores and Spread is 20 points Correct Spread is 5 points. Correct Corps score is 2.5 points. Anything else? Scores will be updated in a minute. EDIT: Scores updated on the first post. When we get to the big events, do we want to do Top 5 or 3? And for the record - If scores and spreads don't line up, I always use the scores and assume bad math since that happened a lot while I was gone. xD

I get 4 wisdom teeth out Thursday then am going on vacation, so I can sorta do points while I am gone because of my phone, but It will be on halt calculating mostly, but keep guessing.

That isn't the same thing at all. I don't see why people care so much... If you are a guy and want to do corps as guard, that narrows down the choices. There is more they can do in the realm of Phantom's shows with it all female. (Turandot, Juliet, etc). Its very effective, and you can always assume they need 1 male "guard" to play the other half of the main character. Look at this year's show. Its a major role of a corps member this year.

I like Faustian's so we will do that, but I will leave my second set of scores up, as seen on the front page. So ex. Crown and Cadets have a spread of 1.5 points Person W calls Phantom and Bluecoats with a 2 point spread Person X calls Crown and Cadets with a 2 point spread Person Y calls Phantom and Bluecoats with a 1.5 spread Person Z calls Crown and Bluecoats with a 2 point spread Y wins for correct spread. X is 1st place in the tie with 2 correct corps in place Z is 2nd place in the tie with 1 correct corps in place W is 3rd place in the tie with 0 correct corps in place.

Wasn't at home last night, will count up the points for the first two shows right now, before my practice session. Should we just do spread and then correct corps and score bonus points or should you have to have the correct Corps in order to get any points? Ex. I guess Crown then Cadets, but its Cadets then Crown I dont get points or I guess Crown and Cadets and its Crown and Bluecoats I dont get points.
