Yeah I mean I won't put ALL of them on I just want to put like the 2012 DCI season one, a Corps exclusive they gave us and also the Open Class patch. And If I do put on my WGI ones it'll just be the year patches. Speaking of. When do the 2012 DCI ones go on sale? Anyone know?

Do people usually put WGI patches on drum corps jackets? I mean I want to put them on somewhere because I'm very proud of them. I march at San Diego State University for WGI so I COULD put those patches on one of the school sweaters that I have. Will that work?

Ah ok that makes sense I didn't see it as a resume. Yeah I'll keep those patches off then.

So I just received my Drum Corps jacket yesterday. And I have many patches that I've bought over the years and also the ones from this year. My question is I collected patches from years I didn't march like 2011 and 2010 and I also march WGI and I have patches from there too. Is it weird to have those patches on my corps jacket? Because for the WGI ones my group has no jacket. To me having a jacket for WGI is kind of weird but I digress. Is it weird to have patches from years I didn't march and from WGI on my drum corps jacket? I know someone who marched Vanguard and Blue Devils and she has her Vanguard patches on her BD jacket. Also does anyone know when are the 2012 DCI patches going on sale? I didn't have money at the time to buy them :/

Or... Just have finals on the west coast... No storms here. Honestly I never understood why WGI and DCI finals are in areas where the weather is terrible.

He made them march off the field in 07 in pasadena they didn't come back until they were repainted. So we all cheered for the painting crew when they came out after 5 minutes of empty field. Good times.

So I live in Southern California so the only time I ever really saw Cadets was during quarter finals in pasadena in 07. And Hop made the corps get off the field so they could paint hash marks and now I hear he did the same thing at nightBEAT. Does he do this often? Or do Cadets just use a different hash mark system?

I'm not bashing. I'm a huge Cavaliers fan but have yet to see them this year and what exactly is going on? Are they just dirty?

That's pretty cool about the star. You guys have no idea how fascinating I find this kind of stuff.

What do the dog tags say? Their name and stuff? Or is it secret? If it is then I don't wanna know

Oh yeah I knew about the gears. (I have cousins who marched cavaliers) That's really cool about the beads though. So the star for vanguard is basically their "gear"?

I'm very curious of every corps different little corps traditions or rites of passage that they have. I'm not asking for secrets like I'm not asking what SUTA or Splooie means or anything like that. I'm just looking for things like Vanguard age outs having a green feather at finals, or Phamtom regiment having to earn those well I'm not really sure what they're called but when they extend their legs out before a hold type thing. I'm just curious about all of those things. I've been into drum corps for awhile but never had a forum to talk about it with other people. Thanks guys.

Was anyone at it? Do the spreads do justice to what you saw? Also did blue devils C really beat SCVC that bad?? Holy cow.

what colorguard has a show that throws paint? I saw it in a WGI trailer once and I really want to see it.

I'm more afraid of getting skin cancer from the SUN than drinking from a hose during tour.

He's an assistant drum major this year I believe. He had trouble marching again and was in the front ensemble but they moved him to like third or fourth drum major

Just curious. I want to know more of the past lore or any myths or rumors. Not trying to dig up dirt on any corps I'm just curious.
