  1. internal rails collapse, fans hurt. [/url]http://abcnews.go.co...d-hurt-20197244
  2. and the West Coasters complain DCI never comes their way...
  3. Now watch that someone will too quickly read what you posted and begin gossiping that (Leon) May is now writing for BD, ha, ha.
  4. I thought Cavies' show was based on the Joshua Jackson 2000 movie, The Skulls, though some competing corps on their tour busses called the show "What goes on behind the closet door.":devil:/>
  5. I've always found confession is good for the soul..............and a night's rest.:lookaround:/>
  6. According to Cadets FB page, their design team (again minus any women, just old white guys, maybe some of them dead) begins meeting for the first time Sunday night and Monday before Hopkins heads off to Chicago and DCI meetings. I am surprised that he and YEA haven't already gotten into that 47.7 Billion (with a B) pet care budget [that Normy cited] with souvie items the owners would bring home for their loved one(s) or is that waiting for Bob Jacobs and the Surf? I thought Norm's numbers were exaggerated until I saw this article. Maybe he is on to something. http://news.yahoo.co...15.html<br><br>
  7. just curious what you thought of Crown's useage if you were privileged to see them live?
  8. This is what their website says currently http://www.regiment.org/about/staff.cfm Yes, I hadn't heard his name mentioned in yeons. He may be playing Mr. Mom while wife is teaching at DeKalb U. Guard will remain excellent as long as Philip Traini (former guard sgt. Cadets, Trumbull H.S. staff, Alter Ego staff, etc.) has his name affiliated.
  9. "Besides my water pill taking body loves seeing ... Sheetz " For the non-Pennsylvanians, that is a chain like WaWa, just a bit bigger. Not number 2.:shutup:/>
  10. now you are beginning to sound like Hopkins. You are a different person, aren't you?
  11. Such a presentation as thorough as what you did with the WC allows some of us small givers the knowledge of who is and who should be financially viable, spending wisely, and more than a just a shot in the dark for our donations to go where they are needed and would be well used in the long run. Motel rooms in Annapolis not included.
  12. Dog gone it, Boo. If I had a song named after me, I''d be flattered.:rolleyes:/>
  13. Yes, I too saw that he was a bass drummer but held my tongue. (Those Holy Bass guys would string me up, ha, ha.)
  14. O most serious person, evidently barking up the wrong tree, ha, ha.
  15. Yes. Thank you for catching that. I'll edit the original. My bad.
  16. Well give him credit for being consistent. Reminds me a bit of Lucy Von Pelt in Peanuts..."I hate everybody."
  17. Aren't you sojourning from Washington, D.C. area anyway, ha, ha? Certainly the seafood places around Annapolis make it a well worth destination on that point alone!
  18. There is much truth in what you say here. However, the track record of DCI judges becoming competitively successful instructors in World Class is almost non-existent over the past two decades. There is a major difference between dealing with theories and abstracts and dealing with young personalities still growing within a show design given by other adults. This year's switches from judging to instructors are people already well vetted and successful as instructors and directors of other marching musical competitors.
  19. Which is what will happen when some h.s. marching band rips it off to make it their own... (I know, usually it's the other way around...)
  20. What if they made it available as an APP? $$$ ??? asks the one who still owns a rotary phone?
