I feel like I’ve gotten plenty of this from BD soloists in recent years. I might be crazy, but it just seems like their chops are shot. Can we take some reps off soloists for finals week or something? They were more consistent at the beginning of the year.

I don’t think BD should take guard over Boston, but it always shocks me that nobody loves on their sabers. They’re ridiculous. BD is certainly down in content for rifle compared to the competition.

For god’s sake, that drum set player has me going crazy. Where do they find these kids?

I’m amazed by that guard, don’t get me wrong…. But there were a plethora of imperfect catches, halves, and drops. They were incredible, but there’s plenty that could be better.

The pacing of this snake moment is ultimately what will keep Boston from taking the gold. This part of the design just never worked out.

Oof. That’s a bit out there. Not impossible, but they haven’t beat Boston since what, around Broken Arrow? They haven’t scored any closer than 1 point to BD all season. Then, Bloo is surging. I would guess Crown is closer to 4th than 1st.

I agree with this. The reason that I have Troopers further behind is only because they haven’t been close in a true head to head. They’re certainly a corps to watch for, though.

None of the other shows use an average and it doesn’t account for surging groups. I see your point, but I’d prefer it the other way.

Man… I feel like you are both right and not truly disagreeing. I mean, you both agree the judges intend on scoring the two nights against each other and you both agree that the results aren’t truly accurate. Y’all need to shake hands or hug it out.

Corpsmen are likely locked into 11th. It'll be a bloodbath between Colts, Blue Knights, and Troopers. Colts and BK need a better show to lock that finals spot. Troopers need about 2 more weeks of cleaning to make finals. It could go in any direction. I'd place Colts in the driver seat, but anything less than their best semi finals run will open the door.

With the exception of guard and percussion, BD and Crown took the top 2 in every category. That being said, day 1 scores appear to be trending a little lower than day 2.

Some ranks would be lower if other groups were included. I found at least 1 tie that wasn't marked as so (GE). Sorry!

Disagree on that one. BD has seldom been passed in brass. It might get tight sometimes, but BD is the clear leader here.
