No, Bluecoats had a drop at the very end of their show last year and it didn't effect anything. Right now, it seems judges are very reticent to punish corps for electronics mishaps. But this is really awful. Probably the worst electronics snafu of the whole season. Really sucks for her. Chin up. Keep blasting away!

I think it's going to be close. Both corps were terrific, but Boston just seems to be peaking at the exact right time.

Sorry, but SCV has the best closer this year hands down. Absolutely amazing run down the stretch for them.

This is Carolina Crown right down the middle, with a slightly less demanding brass book. Crown could do this show and win the gold. It is that well conceived.

Whether you like this subject matter or not, it is pretty much a perfectly designed drum corps show.

They did go up when they added the new ending. But half naked Jesus probably didn't help them.

Tears in my eyes on their last big run to the finish, that brass and drill is just truly outstanding drum corps. Amazing season! So glad I got to witness Knights so close in Nashville!

Really happy forScouts. One of the things I remember so sadly last year was the report here of the Scouts member seen weeping with his parents after discovering they wouldn't make finals. Activity is better when the Scouts are relevant.

Discussion of the partial or total removal of electronics and singing, in any sort, is absolutely constructive. It may not happen, but it needs to be discussed. Regardless.

Bluecoats is changing drum corps, and really changing all of band. Maybe it's not all our cups of tea, and it surely isn't what the judges all deem as the pentultimate of the activity. But right now, I would dare say that there are two corps that are changing the destinations of kids all throughout this activity, and that's Bluecoats and Boston. Going forward, if these two corps can retain their staffs and marching members, the top half of the activity is going to change for a long time.

Tough to follow up a truly ground breaking show like Down Side Up, and have people think it is ground breaking.
