I wish I could've seen this show live this year! It's definitely a return to power, statement show by them! Happy for the Cavaliers!

Yeah, I thought the same after seeing them in Bentonville Tuesday night. The power and detail is unreal with them 😳

I just knew it after watching them in Bentonville last night clean the heck out of certain parts of the show. This Drumline is special. They are bringing this corps to a new level just like the guard did last year. As a fellow percussionist, I'm really excited watching this breakthrough for them.

Yeah I thought they would place first after watching them do some super cleaning last night in Bentonville. I'm telling you right now, this show is going to win. It just has too much detail not to win, and they are extremely solid in every caption this year. Drumline is smokin! And I know when I hear some great drumming, as I have been involved in percussion for years. Really excited for Crown to finally breakthrough in percussion! Honestly, the really funny and strange part is I actually enjoyed the Blue Devils show more this time around, maybe because of the music. Odd... But I did really enjoy their show. It's flawless.

The only real changes that I could see so far was around the stagecoach in the ballad. I believe they are trying to highlight the characters better in this section to bring more emotion. Much of the ensemble practice was about cleaning, and highlighting major hits with more power, balance. I also believe they upped the tempos in some sections, seemed faster than the night before. Heavy cleaning on the brassline.

Went and sat in on Crown's ensemble practice last night after seeing it live the night before here in Bentonville. Interesting polishing being worked on. The run through already sounded better than the night before in a few spots that needed work. There is so much doggone detail going on in Roxanne, it's absolutely crazy! Definitely enjoyed seeing and hearing it live once more before they left the area. They were absolutely relentless in every detail last night, especially the closer! I think they place 1st tonight. It will be close but they are on to something with this show. Wow. 😄

Crown was amazing tonight. Just flat out winners with the brass and guard in particular. I mean, heck! Just dethroning Blue Devils guard all season long is impressive enough for a hopeful title run! And those banners are some serious GE fireworks working on the field. They just have it all this year. 😎 I will say though that the Bluecoats are beginning to scurry their way into a possible silver with that beautiful show. Wouldn't be surprised to see them sitting there Saturday night if you ask me 😅
