Wasn't Sal involved at Madison and they went from good to bad In a few years? I could be wrong, and State Street Review? What was their last year competing? Early 90's, not quite sure anything is relevant now!

I'm sure there will be some that follow to Boston and with the good mix of returning vets things are truly looking up at Boston.

Well that's the big question, but Leon did put the brass in the best position to be successful year after year.

Another big announcement from the Crusaders, big time additions to the guard staff. I don't recall anything like this in recent DCI history. Looking forward to seeing the #CrusaderGuard under this design staff and tutelage!

Can Michael Klesch write drill? They may need him to of that is the case.....

That's what I hear, I guess we'll know shortly. But I've heard several have declined for both Brass and Visual..

And at the last TOC show in Buffalo cadets were 1st in Percussiom and 2nd in Brass. I believe this is more indicative with where they most likely should have been. The brass line was no lower than 4th and percussion was Top 3 easily. Just IMO...

Let's not forget he went to Blue Stars and they went from 8th in 2010, 11th in 2011 and out of finals in 2012 when he was part of the design team and percussion caption head.

Unfortunately I think Tom Aungst's best days are way behind, he took the Crown gig to prove he could hang with the elite groups still. That wasn't proved last year! Only time will tell though.

I believe it was much later than that, around 2010ish...

I hear Brass guys is coming in and was previously at Cavies...doesn't surprise me since Drew was at Cavies I believe the same time frame.

Let's remember the most important thing here is that the Boston Crusaders are giving their students the best educators there are and by doing this ensuring that they will have great experiences. The competitive part is secondary. The future is bright and any student that comes through the organizations will be taught by the best!

I could be wrong but it does seem like Cadets have major rewrites every year from start to finish..either to much music that needs to be edited down. Or just major design flaws that need major rewrites...either way it puts a ton of burden on the visual to have to rewrite major sections of the show. So instead of enhancing the show its major changes.

I also saw it on FB from a member of their BOD...

I would love to see Gaines back but I don't think he would be a good fit down in Allentown, also wonder how many rewrties he would be used to doing with all the dramatic changes that Cadets go through each season. I couldn;t see him working well with GH. Just my opinion.
