Vanguard hasn't marched French horns since the mid 90's. They did march all euphs from 01-03 when they switched over to Bb's, until they got the Yamaha's then they didn't march any euphs in 04 and and they put euphs back in the mix in 05.

you forgot to factor in sponsors, my parents don't pay for anything because I'm sponsored, so I think that should be taken into account.

With a majority of the corps having auditions this weekend (thanksgiving day weekend) I'm just curious who is planning to go where?

they do hold up quite well, even the silver finish is pretty durable we shined our horns at least every show, using wrights or silvo or blue magic. The actual durability of the horns themselves is also great, never had many problems besides pinky rings breaking off of mellos easily but that is easily fixed.
