If you see anymore Crown kids after the show, please let them know there are many of us out here that LOVE the show! I can't wait to see the extra minute added to the ending Friday in Muncie!

We will see what happens to music scores once Crown adds their extra minute in the closer in Muncie.

I believe this is exactly what is happening! The fact that people are talking about it so much and not liking it or really liking it is what it is supposed to be doing. It is the bridge between the traditional drum corps (old school). Was is For Good? Is it Not For Good? Then the new age of the closer of No One (which is going to continue to evolve all summer) where the vocalist is singing about losing direction and not sure where she is going. How will drum corps continue on? New direction like Bluecoats or are we going to stay with some of the old school For Good? Should people want drum corps to be the first half of Crown's show which is traditional or should they really like a new direction that many in the activity are starting to take and which Crown is trying to emphasis in the second half of their production?

Agree with you totally! I'm hoping for some changes and I am fully expecting adjustments and tweaks! I just see great potential in this show considering it's only June 19th. Can't wait to see all the corps and see how the entire summer plays out.

Singing has been done and will continue to evolve (Cadets are going to test that this year). All I'm saying is IT IS June 19! If you think it's a gimmick (either good or bad), I can't change your view. Tough to really judge the singing or show concept at this pointt (especially when a minute of the show is not even on the field yet). You may not like it now but I'm sure their creative team will be tweaking and cleaning all summer and the product we see in late July and early August will more than likely look far different than their preview show on June 18th.

Hey! If a gimmick works then great and it worked out for them. Let's just let this play out and see what happens with Crown's show this year. Some people will like it, others will not. That is the nature of the beast with drum corps now. They are trying something new just like Bluecoats last year. I didn't like Bluecoats at the beginning of the year last year but it grew on me and learned to accept it.

Would you consider running around the field and running and sliding up and down ramps a gimmick?

I've now watched this show numerous times now, and I LOVE it more and more every time I watch it. I'm old school and have never really enjoy singing but I am coming to accept it and take it for what IT IS. IT IS part of corps now and the activity will not go backwards. IT IS an evolving and creative activity and singing is part of it now and I am going to try to enjoy it and accept it. As far as this show goes, I have been watching different sections of the field each time to try and take it all in and there is so much going on it is just CRAZY!! I can't wait to see the additional minute of the show they have yet to put on the field and to see how they continue to clean this monster and add more and more layers. Potential is unreal!

Agree with everything you said! This show has so much potential and so much will be added as the season goes along. Brass is as strong as ever, guard appears in good shape, percussion seems to be strong (which has been lacking in previous years according to scores), and there is a huge emphasis being put on GE. All the elements for success!

Madison is rehearsing and doing a clinic at Lucas Oil prior to the Tour Premiere and then they are leaving and won't be part of the show.

I don't think you will be disappointed! Very classy looking and very Crownesque!

I believe this closer is going to be the one everyone is talking about this year!

Disagree that they are 2 to 3 days behind schedule. Totally opposite of what the corps is being told and what I'm hearing veterans think. They were also given the night off last weekend. I don't believe this would have happened if they were behind schedule.

Have heard all the music and it's incredible as usual from them! Have not heard the female vocalist yet!
