Sorry. I meant to project 6th vs 7th for finals. But even 5th or 4th in percussion is a huge barrier when you are after a championship

It's time to panic about percussion and make changes. This has been a problem with Crown for 10+ years now. The difference in percussion alone is why they didn't come home with a gold medal in 2015. It would also have brought them within .1 of the championship in 2012 and 2016- and adding to the argument that percussion is included within music analysis, GE2, etc....Crown could have 4 gold medals instead of 1. There were some issues outside of percussion in 2017-2019 but as we can see Crown is still very much relevant and competitive. They will not win the championship in 2022 scoring 7th in percussion. It's not going to happen. Edit: my autocorrect is the worst.

It's good. It is my sweet spot. I'm from PA and graduated in 03. Having one of the only corps I knew about at the time play my favorite piece of marching music is priceless. It may be better than 90s Madison. Madison 88 did it best though. I was 3. I have definitely only seen recordings of this. Malaguena on the field will never get old. It's even cool with BLAST! Remember them?

Keep in mind- They are probably going to be outside of the top 10 for the first time since 2010. Their hornline is fantastic but not as good as PR for sure.

The design isn't great. Probably their most generic in at least 10 years. The hornline is fantastic though.

I have had my eye on them since they played Mars. That Casey Jones show was clutch. I live between Akron, Pittsburgh, and Erie and have always been tempted to see them live at the Erie show- we generally end up at the Bluecoats show though. Saw them rehearsing in Conneaut lake a few year ago and they are hard workers! One of the main reasons I love semis over finals.

Oh yeah. This BK show keeps getting better.

People aren't going to agree but with some cleaning I have them at 6. But this whole 6-10 groupings has the best written and most entertaining shows this year. It's amazing.

Me too! I think Cavies have the feel this year for season 4. With the clock and all. The Mandarins props and uniforms are reminiscent of the upside down but nothing would make me happier than some fat low brass playing the main theme.

That show was cute but the Mandarins were suddenly hard charging in 2017 and Madison was fighting to stay relevant.

I feel the stranger things a little bit but still don't recognize anything. Does anyone have their repertoire handy? For the Mandarins.

Does BK still use Jupiter? They sounded great on those in theboast

Guardians percussion pretty good! Low brass confident! Some decent drill. Good premiere so far!

I can see it in finals over xmen I like the design of xmen and Colts better than BK but BK brass is really good
