They have the same writer/arranger (although now that Vincent Oliver is doing the brass arrangements, I believe the percussion writer adapted with him), but they do have new caption heads (and possibly techs).

Definitely Flo. They haven't had a Flo broadcast yet this year where the corps didn't all have a dull, lifeless sound to them.

Last year was an INCREDIBLE financial strain on drum corps, especially the California corps because of the way prices for fuel and food skyrocketed in ways that no one could have planned for. I'd actually heard there was a chance they weren't even going to field the B corps this year, but that didn't turn out to be the case.

Well, if they're not going to DCI, it kind of makes sense that they'd cut whatever costs they could. It still gives these students a solid experience (it's not like they're the ones who performed this with another group).
