the musicality and basic chops of scv this year, i know everyone can say a recent year, but i really think this year will go down in the books.also any old school scv year, get the tribute to fred sanford cd, sit back and be amazed.yeah. ^0^

What types of music do rudimental drummers like?
theneo replied to FlamDragHero's topic in Percussion Planet
311 and techno are the shiz, also o.a.r., kind of a jam/college band, tenacious d, john scofield -
i think not, with scvs great performances and the sheer talent of their line, and bd's showmanship i dont think so. yeah bd might not have been as clean but i really think they were better. scv by far was cleaner. also they musicality and demand of their book far exedes cadets, seeing as how cadets played half of this years book in 01 and 02. not tryuing to hate jus getting fed up with streaks. thankfully one ended this year.

what are the most popular snare head choices this
theneo replied to RichDeCapio's topic in Percussion Planet
i just put a white max on my snare and love it, clear on bottom soudns fine but i like the coated. i personally like the scott johnsons, casellas, and jeff moores by pro-mark. although i try not to get caught up too much wtih sticks, u should be able to play with anything. -
my bro marches mello this year for scouts and i had been on tour off and on for about a week and a half helping on cook crew and anythnig else, but those guys are THE nicest and hard working guys out there. i know everyone works hard but madison is really trying to come back this year. Sal Salas is doing great things with them along with everyone else on staff and support team. mynwa

i like wheelchair and ditty, everybody learns ditty and every line plays wheelchair, i wouldnt say most plagiarized, just most used and popular. the most sincere form of flattery is cpying or however that little saying goes. btw- has anyone noticed that cadets onfield this year sounds a little like scv 13?

dont forget that their whole line is amazing, i would love to see them win top drums, they deserve it mos def.
