  1. Sigh............ I was hoping you wouldn't give up but not everyone has your vision. I AM SO SAD. Su
  2. Bleu Raeders & Louisiana Southernaires alum, Clay Ledbetter, suffered a massive heart attack. His situation is critical. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
  3. My ONLY regret is when Billy Hammond, Doug Albritton & Jay Pennison knocked on my door to march Blue Stars, I said I couldn't make it. And, Bleu Raeder, I have a Troopers shirt from way back then.
  4. Memories of my one and only DCA & dragging my cowbell to Crunchy have kept me going. So had to jump in on this one. My return to drumcorps after 28 years was Crunchy Frog. Met lotsa fun, drumcorps maniacs. Had a great time & got to enjoy all of I & E. It's amusing that anyone thinks Lee's doing it for attention. Chuckle. Proud member of Crunchy Frog forever. Su
  5. Hey Nikki, It was good to see ya'll. GCS & Echoes playing in the parking lot together was really cool. Sorry I didn't get to ride Thoth with ya'll.
  6. Ronnie Scheppegrell, Simo Martinez & Richard Flaig. Sorry, Bleu Raeder, Can't remember the name of the school we stayed at.
  7. I remember we called the dad, "Wheaton Willy".
  8. I grew up in a mining town in the northeast of England, where "Jazz" bands were popular. We played kazoos with silver coated "bells" attached to the kazoo. We had tenors, snares a bass drum, cymbals. tamborine. a mascot, drum majors & the banner carriers. I still have some great pics of the Billingham Silvertones from the mid-60's when my whole family marched. We marched in local parades & traveled to other towns for competitions. The medals & trophies were really well made.
  9. Thanks Dave. Finally found that Bleu Raeder everyone down here's been wondering about. ("You Rang"? Is THAT it?lol) Su
  10. (Hey Dave! Finally made it over here after 3 years). Trying to figure out who this fair skinned Bleu Raeder snare is that marched with me?????????? I wish Regiment Militaire was back here in New orleans. I loved them. Kilties snares were my favorite though. Just take me back to the 70's! Su
