  1. CCCOOOOL! I think the kids would like that! Talk to Big "O" and the rest of the perc staff cause it will be lots of fun!
  2. Thanks,Jimbo! The members have been working hard the last few weeks to get every ounce of entertainment to the crowd and spark one this weekend! Hope to see you friday night at I & E's! I hopefully will be able to park the rig right on Main st near the west side of the river. We have many percussion participants and will be having a percussion sectional on the riverbank about 830 pm. Time to light up downtown with the sounds of DRUM & BUGLE CORPS!!!!!
  3. There were 2-3 spots of 1 lane construction zones for about 3-5 miles each. Not bad.........Considering the trip down 81 to clarks summit and picking up the pike that was just so rough and congested. I liked the route I took home for the fact I also have been traveling the 81 corridor the last few weeks. As far as the "99" thing.........the only thing I saw was a sign saying "99 future corridor"!! Strange! I thought I was on route 15! LOL! There is about 10 miles going thru Lawrenceville on 15 that can be aggravating but its over before you know it and 15 opens up to nice highway going to corning and westbound on 17/86 is fine to 390. The 180 is real nice! Gets you around Williamsport and is only about 26 miles! As we got near Williamsport we spotted the Goodyear blimp for the tv coverage for the little league world championships being held there. If you need anything else, just drop me a line!
  4. Just got in after a leisure ride with the equipment truck up the rt 61 to 81 to 80 to 180 to 15...etc...etc....etc....whew!! Mountains just tucker me out! LOL! Thanks,Jeff for your very nice and insightful comments about Cru! The Corps is working hard to please the drum corps world and look forward to entertaing the crowd in RACHACHA! To the Bucaneers Show committee and family........HAT'S OFF to YOU!! Great place and appreciative fans for a Great Event!

  8. Cool for you, Keith! When you come back we can ask the question...."Is there a doctor in the house?" and you can pipe up..."Yes,there is!!"

  10. ! What?! No Taiwanese? Nor Cantonese?!?! Say it Ain't so!
  11. I second that Fran! Can't remember the last time the weather was so perfect in PA for drum corps!!! Before championships can we bring it this weekend to Reading Please??? Thanks for a Great Review and to all the other drum corps for a Great night of All Age Drum Corps Entertainment!
  12. They changed hands and now called Romeo's Restaurant which still is very good being in the restaurant business for over 30 years! its a 20 minute drive from Henrietta though in Greece. There is an OUTSTANDING Italian/American Restaurant not to far from your hotel in Henrietta called Domonico's on East Henrietta rd near Lehigh Station Rd. Converted old huge house with on premises baked bread that is to die for! Go early cause they run out of bread......lol! Seriously, though the food is Great Too! Not to be confused with Delmonico's at East Henrietta and White Spruce Blvd that is a chain and advertises the largest delmonico steak but it was way too much fat on it and the eatable portion was less than half! BOO! Plus they ala carte charge you for everything extra like mushrooms and such.... This has been your food guide, Soggy chef signing off!
  13. Ridge Rd East in Irondequoit near Hudson Avenue.........OK joint but overrated! Try Don's Original at Seabreeze or Vic & Irv's next door.......on the shore of Lake Ontario!

  25. Yes, Keith!.....Preferred Operating Party Swill! Swill is a fictional low-price mineral water popularized in 1977 by a spoof commercial starring then-Saturday Night Live cast member Bill Murray. Swill prided itself on being "the water that's dredged from Lake Erie." According to Murray's endorsement, Swill was the only thing that could "wash down a hearty meal...that tends to just lay in your stomach." The advertisement also featured footage of Swill employees bottling their product in the lake, and of Murray pouring the viscous, dirt-filled concoction over ice, telling us "...I like mine with a twist." A closeup at the end shows the bottle is a parody of the one used for Perrier. Anyways, Looking forward to seeing you when you comeback at the end of the month! The High Falls Brewery is opening there plant in Rochester for tours beginning the week of July 21!! MMMMMMM! Honey Brown fresh from the taps!
