Since this forum is typically used by many to trash the Cadets, I sure hope that everybody noticed that they handled retreat last night with the uptmost of class which can't be said about many of the other corps. I was particularly disappointed with the behavior of the Cavaliers as they mocked the Blue Devils by entering the field mimicking the tight rope walking done by BD in their show. Perhaps some of the other corps directors should contact Hopkins to see how to instill some discipline in their corps and show their members how to represent their corps in an appropriate manner when in uniform.

I can not believe all of the complaining about the increase in ticket prices. As stated in the above post, last year's price was $250 and did not include the open class performances. I believe that the costs for those performances in Pasadena was $20 per show which when added to last year's price results in an increase of a WHOPPING $9.00. Based on the fact that this year's championships are being held in a brand new, state of the art, stadium with club level seating, unlike the Rose Bowl which I can recall reading post after post of complaints regarding that stadium, I feel that there is no basis for all of this complaining as it is a 3.6% increase. Since you can stay downtown and walk to the stadium, there is no need to rent a car which will actually save you more money than the increase in tickets will cost.

I am a Platinum Level member and also have not yet received mine. I am also just a TAD UPSET and sent DCI an email expressing my displeasure.

I am logged on but all I have is a black screen saying Ready....Field Pass was supposed to start at 6. Is it my computer or hasn't it started

Remember ....the charge is for 2 tickets, Saturday and Sunday. There is no additional charge for shipping, so I think this is not unreasonable.

The dates are Saturday July 7 and Sunday July 8. That is not a typo...Saturday and Sunday this year. Dates were announced at DCI East this year.

I just received an email from YEA informing that the start time of the show in Bensalem tomorrow evening has been changed from 7:30 to 8:00 pm due to the extreme temperatures forecasted .

Tickets have been sold.

I have 3 tickets for sale for each night of DCI East. Seats are located in section J, Row 6, Seats 14,15,and 16. Prefer to sell them as a group but would consider splitting them up. Asking face value of $25 per ticket. If interested drop me a message.

Does anybody who has attended marching band shows have a recommendation as to what the best seats are in regards to acoustics. I know from past experience at the RCA Dome in Indy that the only good seats in order to not have reverb are in the lower section. Is it the same at the Georgia Dome or is the club level ok ?
