  1. I was surprised that the Alpine Girls received so many votes. We competed against them in the early 70's. Hey Liz! This is a "what if" type poll. I know that they would never come back.

  4. Kitchener, Ontario, 1976, Golden Triangle Invitational. It rained most of the day so the field was muddy. We come OTL (opener) with Crown Imperial March. Horns snap and a fellow lead sop (Bill Fahning) loses his mouthpiece so one of our hole fillers quickly takes his out and gives it to Bill. After the show, the mouthpiece was nowhere to be found. Probably still stuck in the mud.

  16. Vehicle by The Ides of March (BTW - they have a live CD that they did a few years ago and the band is out of this world! Awesome CD!!!! One Fine Morning - Lighthouse. I believe this is a Canadian band and I remember hearing Guelph Royalaires playing this in the 70's.
