I was sick that time...we were in Mount Vernon, OH and a bunch of us were taken to the hospital. We did Marion and then Butler, what fun those days were.

I'm thinking of going to MCL.....man I'd love to be the drum major!

The book of questions and answers is one of my "library" books...if ya know what I mean! The people to get your DC trivia from is Dick Hoppe and Tom Peashey, they have a wealth of knowledge on everything drum corps.

They both used less than that I believe....actually the answer is in the 1980's.

Hill Where the Lord Hides

I originally started it because I liked music and wanted to march around in a cool uniform. As time went on (1970's) I did it because I loved playing and staying active and having tons of friends through the years. I went into Senior cor because I missed all that and had already taught junior corps. I liked the comraderie and the instruction, especially with the Crusaders (Mike, DA, Cooley,etc). I am somewhat out if it now by my choice but also because I put drum corps ahead of my family and my marriages and now feel that my marriage is the most important thing next to God and my sons. However, if a cool gig came along I may jump at it. I am having a great deal of fun teaching band and chorus at my HS and developing a program that will be just as good as any HS band and choral program in this state.

I looked at the website and noticed that the Board of Directors is also the staff. I also think that I've seen the name of their Corps Director some where....a little help here...anyone?
