  8. Yes, I remember the place It was during the closing number "nothing's gonna harm you" when the guard danced thru the horns using all of the lanes around their field placement.... Great moment! Great Emotion! That Roy Chambers he was a gifted drill designer, now retired from the activity...Wrote for Bush from 1986 - 1995.
  9. I watch the finals performance every so often. (I do not believe there is a copy of prelims but do as Dave recommended above). 1992 was a great season and an even more incredible Labor day weekend in 1992. Glad to have a Bushwacker performance of such magnitude in the history books. All of us from the 1992 Bushwackers thank you for the kind comments Fran! That design team had a unique bond that was wonderful to work with and perform for! My wife and I recently saw the "Sweeny Todd" revival on Broadway! Go see it before it closes!

  13. I wanted to thank you for clarifying (somewhat) the changes that occurred during the mid 90's in DCA. I have had many discussions with regard to this specific topic over the past 10 years and was present with my organization when we started noticing the writing on the wall. Some didn’t believe it was happening, but I did! I do wish I had the opportunity to interview all 3 of the individuals you have mentioned, (each one an asset to DCA and missed my many) just to find out the date of their first meeting/conversation regarding the changes that occurred. We can be thankful for the many unique styles in DCA! This alone really makes the circuit interesting and the competitiveness between corps my favorite. B) Happy 25th Anniversary Bushwackers! and 20 years ago this Labor Day was the corps first win and first DCA Championship in 1986! (awesome night!) We made it 25 years thanks to many but mainly Jay Morlot and his budgeting talents!! (end commercial)
  14. I'll second that Chris! 1 thru 4 will be a dogfight! Happy 20th (for the first win) and 25th Anniversary Bushwackers!
