  2. That could be about any of us...so atleast that offers some level of anonimity
  3. Thanks man! It's been just shy of 10 years since I've been on that stage. Felt like never left.
  4. Congrats on your engagement! Oh, and by the way, that we me to said hey to you on the sidewalk by the buses in the afternoon...in case you didn't remember. :P
  5. Regarding Surf....I saw them in Clifton at the end of June...mostly just seeing the corps do a pre-show warm-up...missed their show, sorry. Anyway....if you get a chance, check out their cymbal line. These chicks are amazing!!!!! No, I do not mean that in a "Chauvinistic Pig" sense....I mean these ladies looked like they were going to snap at any minute...and I did not want to be the poor man in their way walking down a darkened alley. I give big props to their intensity....go get 'em ladies.
  6. Yo Jeff....I heard you met my old man?!!!! First thing he did this morning was call me with scores and the whole account of the evening. Very Funny! Sorry I couldn't make it. You coming to Clifton next week?
  7. Let me just say that BD just gave me one of the best experiences as a fan...ever. As I always do as junionr shows, I seem to get lost in time and spend half of the show in the lot watching the drumlines do their warmups. Well, after spending the entire afternoon at BD rehersal, I decided to pay them yet another visit where my friend and I were greeted by a little "Ditty" that they're known for. WOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!! BD's drumline never ceases to amaze me. Their aggressive, but laid back approach to their playing is truly inspirational as they continue to "make it look easy" What caps off a truly great night was as we were walking through the lot on our way out, the guys from BD's tenor line (who recognized us from our warm-up cheering and bowing) started calling for us. We walked on over where we were greeted with a hand-shake and a huge, "thank you....you guys got us hyped up....it's guys like you that make this thing so much fun". It was amazing to see guys in such a competative activity, and at such a young age, recognize the contributions of a fan and not just blow them off because their "only a fan". These guys had no idea who I was or what I did and it didn't matter. They were just happy to be having a great time, meeting new people, and, in words of one of them, "giving guys like us a great show" In the end, we must have hung out with them for about a 1/2 hour, exchanging names, hometowns, corps history/resumes and other various small talk. Good luck you guys. See ya in Philly!!!!
  8. You're gettin a little saucy with the imports...but I'm sure I can see my way fit to pulling through for you.
  9. I'd say that's a fair trade. Beer for a CD. Name your price ... just please, be nice.
  10. how much beer ya got access too? ^0^ Name your price <_< Unfortunately, I am crippled on the technology side at this point so you'll need to send the file on a CD via snail-express.
  11. Jeff, What's the chances you could hook me up with a copy of that CD?
  12. Dan Delong and Matt Jinks. Although I never really had him as an official teacher, I do credit Tiras Allen with a lot of inspiration.
