Just some food for thought... 2004 tour of champions; The corps going on to CA left from Denver to meet up in southern Utah for a mass rehearsal day. Those that took the 70 west to the 15 were on the road for hours going through the rockies (Mine took over 20). Cadets avoided it altogether and went via Cheyenne. Its also worth mentioning that theCardinals use the dome at NAU for their preseason camp. Once that is over the college team starts to move in. Its also likely that the teams from UA and ASU will be in full swing by then. Looking at the UOP stadium site, nothing on their event calendar indicates DCI for that day. If UOP is out, the pickings could be slim on where to go. The only over dome I can think of is in Springerville http://www.elks.net/dome/dome.html#DomeInformation and there is no way it can handle the crowd a major regional would attract. Weird that a domed HS stadium would be in AZ of all places... Hoping that things work out with UOP Thom W
