Greetings everybody. I have been named the DCPI Div2/3 Coordinator for this upcoming season. It is my plan to hold an online chat at some point shortly after the conclusion of DCPI season 3 (within 1 week). At that time, we will be discussing potential changes that we'd like to consider implementing for the upcoming summer season. Not to speak for element, but you are also corps directors as well as co-executives. Nobody's accusing you of seeking to do so, but I think we'd want to make sure that there are no conflicts of interest. After all, in real life, Dan Acheson is no longer a corps director.

Hoppy isn't the director of Crossmen, Larry Marciwiecz is. Hoppy owns/operates YEA, of which Crossmen are a part, but that doesn't always ensure lock-step voting (as was recently witnessed in the electronics vote)

Steve, do you have access to show results from past years? If you do, it might be fun to incorporate some of the more recent standings (say 2000-present, when the most recent score-sheets, minus the percussion change, were implemented) into future seasons to increase the # of corps to choose from.

My suggestion: 1 director, 1 vote, regardless of division. Directors from div 2 and div 3 are eligible to vote, but if a director operates multiple corps, he/she still only gets one vote. And by director, I mean DCP screen-name. And it should only be open to directors who have competed this season, or former directors who indicate by a certain date (open for the execs to decide) that they intend to compete again next season. Potential new directors can wait until after next season.

I guess all the snow is holding up the results.

The recordings sound great.

The stage is being set for an incredible show taking place this Saturday evening in Bloomington IN's Memorial Stadium. The show will feature 11 solid corps from all 3 divisions, and also marks the first and only time this season that all 5 corps active within the Kosmos organization will be competing on the same field on the same night. In addition, the show also features a rematch between Kosmos and their sister corps Kadence. Last time these two corps met, it was Kadence, coming out of nowhere to score the upset victory. Will Kosmos even the score, or will Kadence establish themselves as the new "top dog" within the organization? Only time will tell. Again, the show is at Memorial Stadium, where great seats are ALWAYS available :P
