  1. When I was a member of the Crusaders in 1975 BAC stood for Bad A** Crusaders among members and Boston Area Crusaders to people on the outside of the corps. I believe, although I can't prove, that BAC originally stood for Boston Athletic Club who was a sponser at one time. Nemesis
  2. Don't know if this counts but I've heard that radio host Don Imus played in a base drum corps while he was in the service. Nemesis
  3. As a member of the Boston Crusaders in the mid 70's, I was often told a story that had happened in the late 60's at a show called Mission Drums and I'm curious if anyone on here may remember if this is true or not. Anyway, during the performance of the Yankee Rebels, a fight supposedly broke out between the Crusaders and the 27th Lancers on the field. Both junior corps where there to compete because two senior corps had pulled out. If anyone can shed some light on this, I would be very grateful. Thank you, Nemesis
  4. Heard that the Generations were rehearsing last night in Bristol, R.I. so I took a ride to see what was happening. I was pleasantly surprised to find about 25 horns and about a dozen drummers belting out a few tunes. I guess they've been getting together once a week for the last few months in order to put on an exhibition at the East Providence DCA show on Aug. 7. I was good to see some drum corps activity in Rhode Island again after a few years of inactivity. I'm really hoping that they continue after their performance. They play pretty well with a few screaming soloists and they all seemed to be having fun. I wish them luck!!! Nemesis
  5. I wish a competative corps would form (reform) in Rhode Island. Good luck to all the new corps and I hope that we see even more new corps developing and old corps resurrecting. Nemesis
  6. Bridgemen are coming back!!! 27th was back, but left again but would love to have them back again and Northstar. Nemesis
  7. Would love to see 27th back again!!!! Nemesis
