  1. When talking about costumed characaters I wonder why nobody has brought up 1992 VK. Everyone loved all that stuff. But the difference between that and The Cadets is that it was done as a joke. So does that mean that the Fat Lady was the first "guest soloist" in DCI history? :P
  2. I'm going to be in Atlanta but I'm too poor to buy a ticket. So I will be in the parking lot watching warmups.
  3. one drill move I like from this year is in SCV's show, at the end of their opening statement when they form a block by folding lines down as they are moving backwards.
  4. Southwind was named after a train that passed through Montgomery, AL near where the corps practiced in 1980 during its founding year.
  5. One of my favorites was Hancock Stadium at ISU for the Bloomington/Normal show.
  6. 1. Boston Crusaders 2000 2. Phantom Regiment 2003 3. Madison Scouts 1995 4. Madison Scouts 1997 5. Santa Clara Vanguard 1999
  7. There are a couple of videos of Southwind warming up at their dress rehearsal last week. There is also one of them playing "Legends," their corps song.
  8. 1) Cavaliers 2) Cadets 3) Blue Devils 4) Phantom Regiment 5) Madison Scouts 6) Bluecoats 7) Carolina Crown 8) Boston Crusaders 9) Santa Clara Vanguard 10) Blue Knights 11) Glassmen 12) Spirit ....and that's all she wrote :)
