We have been freaking BUSY! We have the 3rd movement on the field. And now we must clean, clean, clean. Yeah, we have been quiet on the boards here. But, I do have several pics that I am going to post to the site. I will let everyone know! GO SUN DEVILS

SHOW DAY!!!

We're back from 4 parades. I got two words: "Gold Bond". We started the day with Dundalk, Towson, Arbutus, and Cantonville parades. After a full bottle of Gold Bond, I finally feel a little better. We are currently at the Freedom Aquatic Center in Manassas, Va. We are sharing the housing site with the BUCS!!! It was great to meet some of you today during the parade. We even ran into some Alliance buddies at the Cantonville parade. No pics today. Too busy marching. We are off to a 9-11 rehearsal and then off to bed. Go night all. WE MADE IT!!! After a L O N G bus ride, we made it to Dundalk Middle School. The corps had a 1.5 hour break and off to the sectionals and visual block. Lights out in 20 minutes. We have 4 parades tomorrow. So the next update will be when I say so. Here are some more pics.

It's 3:12 am and we are still in Florida. Our bus drivers "forgot" to stop in St. Augustine for the secondary pickup...so we turned around. Yeah! Other than that, we are still on the way. Took some pics, but I am too lazy to post them right now. I will add some tomorrow. Good night.

We packed the truck and the trailer up after camp yesterday. We are getting on the bus early Thursday morning for the trek up to the parades and then on to SOS! So YES, we are still coming.

Today, the Sun Devils Drum and Bugle Corps had our first public performance! We performed at the Kiwanis International Convention at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The convention consisted of a short drum cadence followed by our 2008 show music. The show was well received and we were all very excited to show off our new uniforms! Check out the pics! Actually, Teal and Magic both have (had) the same jacket design as the one we chose. Yes, a black jacket in Florida is H - O - T, but what about all the other times we head up north? Or for that fact, anytime, we as individuals decide to take vacation in the great white north? The jackets are light and comfortable. We like 'em. For 2008, I think these jackets are good for 3-5 days this year.

I think we are doing something before DCA in August. I don't know about before SOS.
